Edelweiss walked and walked. She didn't know where she was going, but she was going away from it. Whatever 'it' happened to be. She roamed until the Steppe came into view, and sniffed curiously at the air. There was a scent of wolf on the wind. That wasn't what was curious about it though. The girl ventured closer, spotting a strangely colored woman. Her head was bleached white. Blue eyes stared at the girl, whose minty gaze stared right back. The scent of Habari hit her nose. Ghoul's pack mate? She felt herself relax - somewhat. "Hello" she said softly, letting her voice drift to the stranger. Might as well figure out who they were. They may know her friend, and that could make them her friend too. Wouldn't that be something? 1/3 - met new wolf (medusa) |

She struck out...again. Medusa no longer wanted to be among the wolves of Habari, but until she saved herself, there was little she could do except not be around as much as possible. Still, she returned each day, and still, they had yet to punish her. She had been leaving far more often, every other day at least since her toes had healed. She refused to let them shit on her any longer. She was growing into an angry and resentful sort of beast. Habari would have it coming to them someday, that was a promise to herself. As she trekked across the lands, she came across the scent of a young spring fawn and its mother. The rains from the previous night made tracks more noticeable, and her grumbling stomach urged her to track it down and find her meal for the day. She made it to the eastern Steppe, nose to the ground as she carefully weaved her way around the rocks and over stones. Focused on her tracking task, she didn't realize someone else was nearby until she glanced up to find a stranger staring at her with pretty, icy blue eyes. Medusa froze for a moment, but then her ears caught the single word of "hello" and her gaze briefly darted to the trail she was following and then back to the stranger. "Hello." She repeated back. She noticed the moon-shaped marking on the stranger's head, which was something she hadn't quite seen on someone else before. "Is moon-wolf looking for food, too?" She asked, and almost as soon as the words left her lips, she heard the rumbling of thunder in the sky and a fat drop of water hit her muzzle. If she was going to find that fawn, she needed to get moving. Maybe this woman would help. Two would be faster than one, no? WC: 312 |
As her mate and *ahem* protective detail, Erebos may crash her threads at anytime!
Please note: Medusa is a wildcard! While she is mostly kind, friendly, and eager to help, she can equally be cold, aggressive, and eager to murder you depending on how you treat her! She refers to herself and often, others, in the third person (illeism), and occasionally has tics due to her Tourette's and may giggle and laugh at random, and may twitch here and there. She is a blood & gore type of character, and is not above killing, maiming, or other such violent actions if she's given a reason to do so. It's often in your best interest to not cross her or get on her bad side. Ya never know what she might do c:

"Yes." She had promised Ghoul. She promised him she'd become better, stronger... Edelweiss was not a fighter but she could at least hunt. For herself. For Habari. For this woman. The crackle of thunder coupled with a heavy downpour. She glanced at the sky, reeling quietly with nature's shift. "We must be shift" she said to the woman, coming closer to the stranger "I fear a storm is approaching us." The stranger had a strange way of speaking, but Edelweiss was not the type to judge others on uniqueness. "My name is Edelweiss" she wondered briefly if the primitive-like female would be able to pronounce it "have you been tracking anything, madame?" Her inexperience showed, unable to pick up the scent of prey. It combined with the wind, rain, and storm... It shielded itself, the prey. She hoped her partner would be more experienced. For both their sakes. 2/3 - met new wolf |
