Can't let you eat in peace

This was one piece of landscape Kotori had never been to before. All of the insects reminded him of when his father made him help catch a queen bee. Kotori snapped at an annoying moth but only once. His memory went back around to blue fireflies and while he knew the bugs around here were natural, the memory itself was enough to make Kotori leave the bugs be.
He had never seen a number of these fruit trees before. What sort of prey enjoyed these? Kotori had been scenting the air for prey when he found a different scent and quickly saw what caused it. The large grizzly on all fours his neck craned up looking at a bee hive. It didn’t seem concerned about Kotori but it would be soon. Kotori just couldn’t ignore it, he couldn’t let the bear be. He had spotted it and now it had to either die or run away.
When Kotori started running at it the bear turned from its potential snack, letting out a guttural huffing sound letting the wolf know it wasn’t happy with the idea. Kotori ran straight at it, spinning wide at the last second as the bear sent a large muscular paw out to attack him. Kotori leaped up onto its back, biting into a sensitive ear and quickly shredding it. The bear stood up on two legs and Kotori had to leap off before he fell off.

The beautiful orchard had called to the red woman, the many insects and fruit laden trees is idyllic and Keahi wanders lazily among the blooming trees. She enjoys the spring sun and the flittering dragonflies that cross her path with a dreamy smile across her red lips. Suddenly, a loud, low, guttural huff rips the tropical woman from her day-dreaming and pulls her attention to a fight some distance away. Is… is that Kotori getting into trouble again?
With a shake of her red skull, Keahi charges toward the fray, making a wide arch to get around behind the tussling pair. By the time she makes it to them, Ko is already on the grizzly’s back and has shredded one of the beast’s ears. So much for attacking its back. As the bear moves to stand and rid itself of the impromptu rider, Keahi darts around its side, and spins to leap up at the grizzly’s neck. Massive, clawed paws swing at her but the damage is done, a wound is open in the thick fur and her form is racing away before the bear even knows what happened.

Keahi once again showed up and went for the bear's neck. She certainly was spending a good bit of time off the armada lands. Not that there was any problem with that but he was somewhat curious as to what had her attention lately. Not the time to ask.
The bear was distracted and all the more weakened after Keahi had bit into its neck. Kotori ran up behind a front leg, biting at the elbow, shaking his head to rip open the flesh. Bracing his legs the bear had no choice but to turn about, of course leaving the bear open for another attack from Keahi.
Kotori backed off as the bear’s muzzle came at him, casting it a smug grin. It wouldn’t survive at this point even if they just let it go. The bear wouldn’t die soon but it would be too weak to protect or feed itself.

The wolves work as a team, wearing down the grizzly and striking whenever there is an opening. Keahi opens a wound on the bear’s neck and Kotori moves up to bite the back of one of its elbows. The red woman backs off slightly so that the beast is forced to confront the earthen male. As it turns, the tropical wolf rushes in, attacking the wound she had already opened. The gash widens, blood spilling out more rapidly from the wound. A clawed paw lashes at her and Keahi is forced to retreat to avoid injury. Eye flick over to Kotori, a small smile on her lips as she readies to finish this once and for all.

Keahi gets another attack in and the bear's blood is pooling out, easy to see. As the bear is forced to turn his attention on her Kotori once again has an opening. The bear should have run the moment it was two wolves. Then again, Kotori wouldn’t have let it escape anyway.
Kotori jumped up on the bear’s back, its neck was stretched out as it attempted to go at Keahi, making it a perfectly good target for Kotori. The horned wolf bit into the bear's neck, again and again until he felt his teeth dig in deeper. This wouldn’t have worked at the beginning of the fight but with the bear unable to keep its focus in two spots Kotori had been granted more time.
The bear reared up finally unable to focus on Keahi no matter the risk. It had to try and get the wolf off of it that was digging his teeth into its upper neck. Of course, as the bear reared up and focused on the wolf on top of it the bear was wide open for Keahi. Kotori couldn’t stay on a standing bear though and had to leap off before he fell.

The grizzly is dead, it just doesn’t realize it yet. As Keahi harass the creature from below, opening its neck wound further, Kotori damages it from its back. It stretches its neck out, trying to bite at the tropical woman and she simple backs away while Ko clamps onto the back of the bear’s neck. The beast roars in pain and rage and she rushes forward, snapping and snarling at the creature. She keeps its attention as long as she can, giving Kotori as much to time to do damage as she can before the bear no longer cares about her.
It rears up, forcing Ko to jump off but also opening itself up for the killing blow. Keahi doesn’t need to be prompted, she immediately leaps up to rip the grizzly’s throat open. It huffs a bloody gurgle, trying to understand where it went wrong. Front paws hit the ground and blood coats the ground underneath its neck. The red woman backs off, making sure that the damage is done and it will bleed out. Her strike is true and the beast gurgles once more before collapsing into a heap, its life leaving quickly after that.
