Soul sand cove. He hadn't been on this side of the territories for about a week now. The spring storms had ravaged the coastlines, hurricanes touching the coasts across Boreas and Grimoire decided it was best to stay inland and not fuck around with a hurricane! But since it seemed like a calm enough day...he ventured out, patrolling the border of the cove and checking out the damage on the land. Logs and driftwood and all sorts of debris littered the cove, and the horned male frowned as he carefully picked his way among the mess.

Logs of varying sizes were either whole or split at various lengths, and it was likely from crashing into one another along with the rocks as the hurricanes and typhoons did their work on them. Glancing towards the currently calm waters...an idea he had held in his mind for some time came to light. He could use these to build a floating dock...not a big one, but something manageable and something that went out enough where he could fish. Somewhere around here were the bundles of coir rope he had made from coconut fibres before the storms had started...now he just had to find them.

But first, he proceeded to pick out the first few logs he thought were good, and started to roll them out closer to the water's edge. With practiced ease, he used his horns to help him secure and move the logs as he pushed them along. When he had a few starter logs piled where he wanted to start working, he set about moving things aside as he searched for his rope bundles, finding a couple of them pretty quickly while others were unraveled all over the place. He set to work, placing the first two logs in the shallows, and started to wrap the rope first around one leg, and then another until eventually, they were secured together. On one side, at least. This would be a lot easier with another paw or two, especially for when he reached deeper water...
