It was high time he got himself more integrated with the pack. Eden had met some of the Pirate children so far, and his were on the way. He hardly had any interaction with children in the past, so he was a bit...apprehensive, to say the least, about trying to do a class for other people's kids. But it was something he felt he needed to do. That way, hopefully he wouldn't fuck up with his new kids. Today's lesson would be in the caverns where there was more solid ground. Off of the sand for his first lesson. Next lesson he would probably do at the beach, but only after the kids got the hang of things before throwing them on more difficult terrain. He had let Eden know his plans for today, that way in case any of the kids ended up with some sort of injury, she was on standby to tend to them. His companions had bowls of fresh water and various snacks for them to have after they finished training (how nice of them!) ranging from smoked fish to deer jerky, rabbit, and an assortment of berries and eggs. Standing on a stone platform that he swept clear of sand, Ignis called for the children of the Plunder to come to partake in a lesson. It was almost noon, surely they'd all be awake and ready, right? |
Ignis is unpredictable and may become violent with little or no provocation due to his "demon"
*Ignis' tail is docked, and his left ear has been torn away and now resembles a Battle crop style.

It was surprising to hear Ignis wanted to be around children.
When she told him they were having pups, he was scared and angry. But now? He seemed to be trying to make an effort. Eden walked to the Caves and sat down near him but not so close. Her eyes focused on the pups that would attend; hopefully. She didn't want to see his efforts wasted, already making plans to let him teach her some fighting skills if the pups didn't want to come.
But otherwise, she was here to patch children up. That's why she was in the pack, and that's why she was a healer. To make others feel better, and train the new generation. None of the pirate pups wanted to be a healer to her knowledge... But she was here to see if they had a natural talent for fighting or healing anyway.

Deluge was prone to sunburn, so she tended to be most active during the twilight hours. She had snuck away for a snooze below decks on the boat, so when the call came, it was close by. Golden eyes cracked, and the girl stood readily, not one for deep slumbers when there were usually so many limbs to content with. She expected one of her siblings to beat her there first, but as it stood, perhaps the lesson’s proximity to her hidey-hole nap spot had worked in her favour.
As the gangly girl left the ship and sauntered closer, she eyed the red man with a tilt of her head before bowing down and stretching out her cat like claws. She stopped again in her approach to rub the nubs on her head that were beginning to show tips of bone, taking her sweet ass time. All this growing was hard work, and a final shake set her coat momentarily ablaze before she finally decided to move a little faster, lips pulled into an appeasing grin, her back hunched and tail waving mid-height between her spine and the ground. She wondered just what they had been summoned for, but bit her tongue for now. Best let her siblings size the other two up before she put her foot in it.

Due to distance kept from her Raider kin and her regular travelling taking her out of pack lands, Deluge smells and acts like a loner. The only noticeable scent other than her own is Dread who may join any of her threads at any time.

Deluge might’ve been first to the spot, but Rexx was on her tail. The snaller but bulky boy loped after his calico sister, having been messing around on the beach or whatever he and Scald decided to make mischief of today. He, too, was experiencing a rapid but uncomfortable growth. His two rows of crystal spikes were poking through his back, and as they slowly emerged the nubs were sore and itchy. Yet, Rexx didn’t act irritable or angry as most would expect for growing pains. No, he just pushed away the discomfort to keep playing, keep going. His tusks were still nubs, curled upwards from his lower jaw, but they’d soon get larger, taller, and sharper. For now, he was a child - hardly a formidable opponent. But don’t tell Rexx that. His purple gaze - the only link to his relation to Modesty - glanced towards Deluge, and then the super red wolf and the lady he’d met in the cavern once before. He’d scared her good! But she was also nice. He didn’t know Red Wolf though.
”Hi! I’m Rexx!” He boomed, nub tail wiggling excitedly behind him. Confident, strong, and brimming with hidden strength. What better combination was there for a growing pirate?

It remained to be seen if every single one of Flurry's litter would be in some sort of discomfort because of something starting to properly grow in, but Flurry was no different than Rexx or Deluge, she'd started experiencing headaches not that long ago, the top of her head where she'd felt those bumps some time ago was starting to itch a lot more too, it would be some time still before her horns were well and properly in, they had yet to break the skin yet but the small bumps were significantly more visible on her head now, little nubs that promised something a lot less fun to be headbutted by. But just as with her siblings, Flurry wasn't about to let that stop her! Flurry would be the next child to show herself before Ignis, she'd been off chewing on a stick, trying to distract herself from the throbbing in her skull.
The young pirate trotted towards the group, taking in the image before her before sliding over towards Eden, her little tail beating the air as she greeted the green-marked woman, a slightly smug tone to her voice, she had no way of knowing if her siblings had met Eden before but she wanted to show off what she knew: " 'ello Eden!" She chirruped, before sliding closer to the green woman and whispering in that way that children did, too loud to really be good as a whisper but clearly still trying to be conspiratorial. "Is that the big red guy?" She asked, gesturing towards Ignis.

Trending for the growing boy lately was to be the last one to show up. Not quite lazy enough to not care, but also too distracted by his own interests to be the first one to show up. He had heard the call ring out from the cavern, he had watched his siblings make their way toward the call, but he still hesitated. Would training really be worth it if their father could teach them everything? Curiosity would kill the cat this time as the white-toed boy made his way to where his siblings, Eden, and Ignis were already gathered. Letting his bi-colored gaze glance over the group, Scald pushed his way between Deluge and Rexx with a charming smile. "Sorry I'm late guys," he beamed in their direction as he shot a look over to Flurry and Eden. From his experience, the green healer lady was more of a pest than she was a friend so why his sister cared to show her attention was beyond him. Pulling his attention over toward the towering red male, Scald sized him up with a huff and a flick of his ears. "What did ya call us here for?" He lifted a brow and let his head tilt toward the side as he awaited a response from Ignis. S C A L D
