The Battlefield was heard of, but never visited until now. Tallulah walked calmly near it, scouting the area and finding the fading scents of fighters. It had both been used and not, dried blood and tufts of fur on the ground also faded over time. She entered the location freely, calling out for a person around her level to meet her. While not typically one to fight needlessly, she did need practice in the skill set. Hunting was not the only thing she could do. Her Bowie knife and cowboy hat were on full display, making it clear she was geared for a spar. A friendly one, mind. No shedding blood over stupid little things. She would not tolerate disrespect when she was here to learn and have a good tussle. Tallulah was here to enjoy herself. When someone marched into view themselves, she turned to them and placed her defenses up. Balance squared away, eyes narrowed and ears pinned. She gave a nod to them, giving permission to start. Rhian crossed the blood-splattered plain with faint nerves bouncing under her skin, her paws lifting in excited motion. She was excited, not scared, despite -- or perhaps because of -- her youth and lack of experience. She wasn't a child anymore. A year was long enough for her to grow up, she thought, and she would scoff at the notion that she was "too young" for anything at all. She was king of her own life, wasn't she? She did what she pleased. Plus, she had gotten this far on her own, why stop now?

But still, as she approached the lone woman, she instinctively stood a little taller, shoulders a little broader, and looked her straight in the eye. Although. She didn't look too much older than Rhian was. And not much bigger either. They were similar in many ways, a knife even balancing out Rhian's long fangs. A good match, hopefully. It wasn't a bad idea to try to look a little more intimidating.

It didn't matter. She put up her defenses, keeping her ice-blue stare fixed on the girl. After a quiet, frozen moment, she lunged suddenly forward, attempting to slam her two front paws into Tallulah's chest to hopefully knock her back. She didn't have much of a plan, but she was doing her best, and wasn't that what mattered?
