Today would be another one that Memento Mori had decided would be spent within the halls of the castle. Part of that decision had been made due to the cold, steely gray clouds beyond her balcony and the freezing sleet that had started to fall from the skies. It seemed that what was meant to be 'winter' for Auster was in full swing even if in Boreas the temperatures were the exact opposite as Summer overtook the lands. Memento Mori did not mind the colder weather too much - it wasn't as if she could simply avoid it anyway. She could have traveled near constantly between Boreas and Auster in favor of warmer temperatures but… what good would that do her when she wanted to settle down somewhere? …and if she had left for Boreas she wouldn't be here in the Hallows right now. For the first time since she was a child Meme found herself truly enjoying her life too. The bit of roaming she had managed thus far from the safety of the Hallows had only encouraged the woman to explore with more confidence. She couldn't quite explain the feeling of safety she felt here… but she knew Artorias and Ezra had been right. In the short amount of time she had been there thus far her experiences had been nothing but positive. She was so grateful she had run into Ezra that day… she'd never be here otherwise. Meme left Rein and Jacques in their room and stepped out into the hallway. She drew in a breath, thankful that the castle fought to keep them out of the bitter wind she was sure were blowing outside. Her ears perked forward as she noticed another wolf making their way in the hall. They bore a cream coat with white, no form of recognition when looking at them and yet Meme had this strong feeling in her gut to call out to them. "Hey there! Hello!" She felt like maybe his scent seemed similar to Ezra's but… it could have just been because he was also a Hallow's member. "Talk, 'Think.' |
Unless ICly stated otherwise assume Memento Mori's companions, Jacques and Rein, are not with her.
