The Festival had fallen apart, unfortunately. Bellamy had no idea, finding the truth out from one of their packmates that there had been some shady activity at the festival sometime after she, Gav, Lucy, and Saga had left. There had been signs of blood, of a struggle, but a disappearance of scents that left her baffled. Wren seemed to be among them which explained why the woman had never returned to Menagerie. That hbeo been why the woman had never responded to her call, or the call of another pack member, Beauregard. The yearling had seemed lost when he heard the news, sticking around at least for now until the pack was to fall. Without an alpha it would only be a matter of time, unfortunately.

…and the turn of events had Bellamy’s focus pulling in another direction. The sign from Nox, the Allfather, had that been a warning of the danger that Menagerie faced, rather than the danger of staying there? Bells believed so. She could feel her heart pounding as she moved back to the den. A thought that had once crossed her mind had returned once more. Bellamy could feel it in her and in her soul, a fierce desire to do something, to stand for everything she believed for. Maybe it would be a long perhaps maybe she was never cut out for this sort of thing, but Bellamy’s heart told her that the right thing to do now wasn't to abandon Menagerie. Instead, she had to pull herself together and, perhaps, become a new alpha for the pack.

The woman wasn’t overly familiar with politics and the like… nor was she one hundred percent confident in her decision, but she knew she wanted a place of stability for Gavroche and herself. For their children. Maybe she’d even convince Lucette and Bae-Syl to join them then. It was different being part of a pack if your family was the one in control of things. No, she thought, not in charge. Well, not really. She wanted to build off that system of equality Wren had in place. It was fair, the right way to do things, Bellamy thought. She approached the den where Gavroche should have been, calling inside.

“Gav?”

"Speech" 'Thought.'

Mental health (particularly depression and anxiety) is extremely bad. Currently unable to handle IC conflict or conflict between characters, pack related or individual. I am struggling to post even simple things and will not be able to continue with thread if approached. Sorry for the inconvenience but I just can't right now.

Bellamy has two companions - a Tasmanian devil and an American badger. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.
