We've only just begun, hypnotized by drums

Bellamy’s travels had finally led her to Western Boreas. Below the surface of the Earth, she had discovered a strange cavern. It was bizarre, what should have been a cavern covered in darkness had started to emanate a soft, blue glow. The further in she came she noticed the glow seemed to grow even stronger than before. The woman’s ears twitched curiously as she drew closer, the glow offering enough light to see what might be the cause. That was when she stepped into the chamber, finding dozens upon dozens of phosphorescent mushrooms. Her gaze widened a little at the sight of them all, making out all the moss along the walls. She stepped closer to the mushrooms, almost as if considering eating them, but a quick sniff told her that was a horrible idea. No, definitely not then! She would avoid eating these things then!
