The weather was perfect today. The sun offered a bit of warmth to Chade’s back even as a slow breeze from the ocean blew in cooler air to take away the bite of the sun. Chade left the den he and Ry shared, stretching his body out fully before moving along. Swift, his now fully grown cheetah companion followed along with him. She had become a solid hunter even on her own and Chade was proud of her but, she was still hesitant when it came to entering fights. It was something he still needed to work on with her. Well, he was always up for a good reason to go bear hunting.
Today though Chade was interested in fighting with others in their pack. He hadn’t fought another wolf in a while and it was a good way to spend time with others in the pack. Manea and Alastor had allowed the two lone pups into this pack and now it was their job to help protect every member in it. It was good to know those he protected and even know their abilities.
Chade made his way to the training area, howling for anyone nearby that might wish to to get some practice in.

Avacyn wasn't often left with free time, but today she didn't have any particular projects to work on or tasks to complete. It was a rare lull in her usually busy schedule and it left her wandering the pack, looking for some of its members to spend time with. She wanted to take the opportunity to see and spend time with them since she was usually tied up with other things or simply spending time with her siblings. She was given the answer she was looking for when she heard Chade calling for an opponent from the pack's training grounds. Her ears perked as she considered the offer of sorts for a moment before she gave a short whistle to her ravens to follow and turned to head off toward the training area. She had been in quite a few fights with various predators as of late, but it had been quite a while since she had been in a proper fight with another wolf. It would do her some good to shake the rust off a bit and practice! When she got to the clearing she found Chade easily enough and gave him a friendly grin. "Looking for a sparring partner, huh?" she questioned as she stopped across from him, leaving a bit of space between them. She noted his cheetah waiting behind him, but her ravens were circling up above waiting to provide assistance as well. She didn't expect this to be a particularly violent fight, but it would be good practice for all of them regardless. As she began to get into a proper defensive stance, she added, "Would you like to get us started?"
