Outlining the new chapter
Nao
Mojito was falling behind again, Asla had left Elysium some time ago and Satira it seemed had gone with her, to another pack, another group of wolves Mojito hardly knew. He would seek out his daughter soon enough but for now, he needed to get his thoughts in order. Satira was old enough now that she could make her own choices in life and he could respect whatever it was she wanted to do, he had to get his own life going again. It would hurt a lot. He'd already been left feeling like he was alone in the world beside her. He held no resentment towards Asla anymore but neither did he really think their relationship could ever go back to what it had been. He'd adored her once and some part of him would always love her, but he'd also known she could never love him back in the way he needed, and it hurt to think that trying to express that pain had ruined them... Would he return to Armada? He wasn't sure, it was the only place he'd ever felt at home but he'd also been away for so long... He hardly knew anyone there either... Just Sirius and- Mojito felt his face flush with warmth as he thought of the speckled man he'd met only a bit before he'd left the pack and had run into once or twice since then. Maybe having Nao around wouldn't be so bad... But Mojito also couldn't really justify returning to the Armada off of them alone... He'd done that once already, wrapped his whole life around someone who couldn't do the same for him and he was wary of doing that again, he just wanted to be less lonely... Tired of feeling like an outcast no matter where he was, so maybe being with his daughter was the best option, no matter how unconnected to the rest of the pack she was in he felt? The man sighed, letting his paws wander as he tried to figure out what it was he wanted. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |
Mo's daughter Satira is free to cash his threads as she sees fit.
He rarely ventured too far from the borders, knowing full well that his status left him with little leeway to explore the surrounding lands. In this particular moment, he was within a few minutes dead sprint of the Armada. It was good enough, just to change up the scenery and stretch his legs somewhere unfamiliar. Perhaps.. it was fate? It didn't take long to catch the scent of a very familiar male. A sly grin toyed at inky lips as the waif picked up his pace to follow the scent of the pale man with the soft ears and equally soft voice. Despite meeting during such a harrowing time, he found himself looking back on that first night on the beach quite fondly. The silvery glow of moonlight on alabaster fur, and the inexplicable sorrow in those blue eyes. He'd hold that memory fondly for years to come. And there he was. Looking so forlorn, this time in the daylight. "What troubles you, watashi no tsuki?" the words escaped like a sigh, soft and just a little wistful. "Have you missed me that much?" he asked with a sly smile, tipping his head to the side as he approached. The casual roll of his gait and the gentle sway of his hips, matched with the forward tilt of his ears, betrayed his ease. For just moment, he wasn't a wary slave. He felt more himself. The confidence of a man well acquainted with his own assets. "" |
