To know fight or flight

Bellamy had met with one of her daughters to give a lesson in fighting and stranger danger and now it was time for the smallest of her second litter to have some time with her one on one. She could only hope that Nessie would listen as well as Hay had. The last thing she wanted was for her little ones to get caught up in trouble. She knew she couldn’t protect them forever, but already she feared losing them to some sort of accident… Ignis hadn’t helped with that. Bells prayed to the divinities above that her children could know peace, at least for a time.

But that was one of the risks of a pack and as an alpha. Bellamy needed to become stronger too, for the sake of her little ones. Rising from their den early one morning Bellamy nosed her tiny daughter. “Come on. Follow me, my little one.” The woman told her before padding out of the cave and into the open land of the falls. Perhaps she’d start with a different approach than she had with Hay.

Starting toward the treeline, Bells glanced over her shoulder to make sure Nessie was following.
