Cerberus still had his usual duties inside Elysium, but the pack had many more warriors to run patrols compared to back home in Fenmyre. He was sure that kind of work load would have dwindled once his brothers grew older and trained in those duties, and it wasn't much of a problem to him to be running more patrols back then. He was honored to protect his home and family once he came of age, and he was sure his younger brothers would have felt the same.

That being said, he had a lot more time to spend with Ruse or Albion, or even getting to know those he didn't inside the pack. Still he found a loss of what to do when he wasn't working. He wasn't entirely social, and he was sure Albion still had settling to do in his position here in Elysium. Cerberus was sure that he and Ruse's place here was only temporary until their father returned healthy.

So he spent most of his time with Ruse. Being here was a good opportunity for her to train and learn outside from what they knew back home. But she was more available on time for him to spend with her. Moving into his den had clicked back this part of him that he missed in his childhood, but there was never too much time he could spend with her he thought. So he brought her out here towards the cliffs along the shorelines away from Elysium.

Ruse walked along the cliff side beside her brother, curiously peeking over the edge toward the icy waters below. She knew it was just an optical illusion, the occasional crash of the waves giving it away, but with the way the water was up against this sheer cliff it looked like the drop went on for ages. "It's like the world just snapped off here," she mused as she took in the sights. Of course she knew that wasn't true, she had grown up on an island and had experienced how land popped up among the ocean all the time so this couldn't be the edge of the world, but the way that the rock suddenly dropped off did make the thought cross her mind.

She glanced toward Cerberus with a little smile. Back home it had felt like most of her family was always so busy and that there was hardly any time left to do things like take random trips out to explore. She knew it was just a byproduct of having so many pups to tend to and so few full fledged warriors to do things like patrol so there was no resentment on her part for how seldom she had been able to go out and see the world, but she was happy that Cerberus was able to spend more time with her now. Turning her gaze back out toward the ocean, she watched the waves for a moment before saying, "I wonder where they ended up." Their family hadn't really had a set destination in mind when they left to find somewhere their father could recover and not knowing where they had ended up was probably the worst part.
