Her heart still felt heavy with the weight of the news of two of her brothers. Faolan had died, and Gargoyle's fate was unknown. She didn't want to fall into sadness and depression and remain there. She felt like if she fell that way, she would never be able to get out. Instead, Greed suggested she distract herself. Cleaning had only worked for a very short time. So he suggested heading to the boneyard and finding someone to distract her with a fight or two. Or however many she needed until she was too exhausted to be sad. It made sense to her...that would surely help, right?

She reached the boneyard, a place she hadn't been to personally, and it was different than the battlefield in Boreas. She was nervous at first, and even as she tipped her head back to howl for someone to join her, her song was of sadness.

Rhian was prowling, looking for a fight to continue working on her skills and otherwise bring some spice to another very boring day. She was still continuing to look for allies, too, but she didn't feel like playing the nice act today. Which was strange, because she actually did kind of want to talk to someone. Not that she was getting soft enough to want a friend, or a companion, or anything of that sort. She was allowed to be a little bit lonely sometimes! She was a pack wolf at her core, whether she was actually capable of listening to anyone that wasn't herself to the side, and she'd been a loner for a while. Longer than she'd expected to be, yet probably a lot less than would actually happen, given how long it was taking to gather up allies for her eventual pack. But she wasn't going to focus on the future today, for once. All she wanted was to fight until she no longer felt so... shitty.

And luckily, a call rang out after not too long of walking around aimlessly. Rhian didn't pay any attention to the weird amount of emotion in it, which was of course not something she would ever do. Her true feelings were shameful things. She didn't like feeling them, and she certainly didn't like expressing them. She wasn't here to play therapist to some stranger. But she would follow the sound anyway, and when she was near the woman who had presumably howled, she'd call out, "Hey! I'll fight ya!" She tensed into her defenses and grinned with a flash of long fangs.

Rhian has a lisp due to her elongated fangs, which I may or may not actually remember / care enough to write out!

"Hey! I'll fight ya!" She looked up to find someone had come. Honestly, she wasn't expecting anyone to show. Auster was quiet despite the number of wolves in the Hallows, plus the other two packs that resided in auster...though maybe Boreas always was, and always would be more bustling. Still, she regarded the younger she-wolf before she nodded. She didn't know if the stranger yearling cared for formalities or not, but Claire was always one to do so regardless. "Very well. My name is Claire, it's a pleasure to meet you." She steeled her voice, keeping the emotions that had been in her song from tainting her words as well. She wasn't sure how successful she'd been at doing that, but she decided it best to just start the action.

She settled into her defenses, head going low, tail aligning with her spine, ears pinning against her skull...pretty much whatever Greed had taught her, she did. It all came naturally. When she was ready, she offered a slight nod to her opponent as a warning before launching forward. Claire moved to close the gap between herself and the stranger, deep amber gaze fixed on the yearling. She jutted her right shoulder forward, stepping off just a little to her own left in an effort to line up the point of her right shoulder with her opponent's shoulder, hoping to jar her enough and force her to step back. Simultaneously, her right foreleg also shot forward, aiming to hook and pull her opponent's forepaw out from under her to help compromise her balance.

"Rhian," she replied. To be honest -- when was she anything but? -- she didn't care what Claire was feeling. It wasn't her problem. However, she did have the modicum of dignity required to wait until she was ready before springing into attack this time, forgoing her usual strategy of trying to catch her opponent by surprise. She even nodded in return. That was extremely generous, in her opinion. Maybe she was getting soft.

As Claire dashed forward, Rhian dodged to the side away from her, turning to face her to form a T-shape if neither of them moved. But she would not be still; she would attempt to spring forward and headbutt Claire in the side. If possible, she would then open her jaws and latch onto her upper foreleg.
