She decided today that she'd distract herself with a patrol. Nuru's news about Faolan's death still weighed heavy on her shoulders, and she wasn't sure how she was supposed to get past this feeling. With her parents, it had been different. She was younger at that point in her life, and while it had taken a while to get past the grief of their passings, Faolan's was different. Sure, they hadn't spent a significant amount of time together before most of her siblings had left the pack, but they were still siblings. She sighed heavily as the weight of it felt like it was weighing her down. So hopefully...this would help. Though of course, she wouldn't be allowed to try and patrol in peace. As she rounded a strip of bushes, she suddenly smelled the scent of a cougar and one that seemed terribly close to the borders. On alert, the monochrome woman kept her eyes peeled for it...though she knew how sneaky and elusive these cats could be. She'd need to stay on her toes and hoped she found it before it found her. Or one of the pups... |
