He had some pent-up feelings he wanted to get out, but wasn't sure what or how to go about doing that. He didn't want his kids to see him so frustrated and full of...well...that part he wasn't sure about. Things had piled on all at once, from Eden's disappearance to all the commotion at the challenge he had gotten attacked out of nowhere, the whole thing with Azure and whatnot, and most recently the confrontation with Bellamy when he released Saga back to her. The cub would be missed, but he didn't quite feel like starting some sort of war over a kid. Not when he wasn't even the one leading the Pirates. Whether or not he even wanted to still lead a pack was up in the air, though he most certainly wouldn't be opposed to the idea should the opportunity ever present itself. He didn't have many friends, but he never truly cared about that. The last time he remembered an alpha being friends with their pack, well...it hadn't ended well. Sparrow was different, he supposed. She often seemed to toe that line, but somehow still managed to get the crew to do what needed doing. It was certainly interesting watching her work...that was for certain.

He walked slowly across the beach, patrolling the edges as he looked out to the water from time to time. Why they bordered a pack that wasn't fond of them he didn't know, but at least they had been keeping to themselves for the most part.
