She hadn't been out this way in a while, but now that she had settled into Ethyria, the warrior priestess made her way to nearby lands to check out who and what lay nearby. A new pack had sprung up at the edges of the western territory, and though she was curious about who they were, she wasn't yet ready to make a visit. She knew nothing of the pack or its leader, and she wondered who had fallen so they could rise. Leaves began to crunch underfoot, drawing her attention to her surroundings. The dual-toned babe was near the edge of a pond, willow trees touching the ground, but leaves from other areas had managed to blow here. They were dry, so they cracked loudly underfoot. With winter well on its way and it nearing autumn's end, she had no doubt this place would be teeming with the mess from the willow trees soon enough. The sound of the leaves themselves was enough to irritate her, so she tried to walk a little more carefully. A cool autumn breeze would ruffle her fur, bringing with it more leaves to brush against her. She flicked her ears as she ignored them, and instead approached the pond for a drink instead. Even there, leaves of all kinds and with various hues of reds, yellows, and oranges floated on the surface of the water.
