The first thing the Warlord did after saying goodbye to one son, was to find another. Limping on three legs, he started his search for a scent trail of Indy. He picked up a fresh one leading towards the rapids. Battered in spirit and body, his progress wasn't a quick one. But eventually, he found himself beside the flowing water. He dipped a paw in, and sent a splash across his face. Wiping away the evidence of tears. The old Warlord took a moment then. Listening to the gurgle of the stream as he composed himself. Pulling up some of the walls that had tumbled down in the bloody spar with Kotori.
When he felt at least a little braced, he continued his search for the purple hued wolf. The muscles that Kotoris horns had punctured when he skewered his shoulder ached, but he ignored the burn. Blood still soaked his fur. He should have washed fully in the rapids, but he couldn't find the energy to care.
When he saw Indigo, it was to find him watching over the young pup. He stood back for a moment, watching his son bond with the boy. "Indigo." He said softly to gain the other wolfs attention

Indy spent most of his time with Aia, going about the daily day to day and teaching her all that he had learned throughout his own lifetime. Reaching back to lessons he received from his mentor and aunt Iolaire or his flower lessons with Meadow. He didn’t keep a secret his mistakes either, and Indigo answered any and all of his daughter’s questions. He didn’t keep anything from her. So when Sirius appeared almost out of nowhere, he didn’t immediately send Aia to their den.
He hadn’t seen his father since before everything happened. Part of him had wondered for a long time if the news was even true. His mother had come back to life once before after all, maybe they would get a second miracle. The way Sirius looked, defeated, broken, and bruised, dashed the last of Indigo’s hope for time to be turned back a second time.
"Father…” He took a hesitant step forward before he looked back to Aia. "Stay and watch if you wish to learn, or go find your mom for now.” He gave her options in any situation, if she stayed Indy would explain his process for working on Sirius. "What are you doing here, why are you wounded?” Indigo’s attention returned to Seer with concern filling his voice.

A part of him wished to stand there forever without breaking the peace. Seeing Indigo with Aia was a balm on his soul. Here was a piece of normality. A child's innocence. But eventually, he knew he had to speak, and in doing so breaking the spell and catching Indigo’s attention.
The lavender wolf turned his attention to him, calling him father. It felt as if it had been a long time since he had been Indigo's father, but hearing it was a balm on his weary soul. “Son.” He said gently, returning the greeting in kind. “I came to fetch Mortis to help with training. Kotori had a… condition to his returning.” He explained, gesturing down to himself and his injuries.

Sirius returned his greeting, looking almost reluctant to step forward and interrupt the moment between himself and Aia. The girl was almost always with him, a fact that Indigo would remain thankful for for a long time. She really was his whole world, and knowing she would grow up and be independent made his chest feel tight. For now he could dote on her for as long as he was allowed.
His father’s reasoning didn’t really surprise him, Kotori’s reaction somewhat did, and more so the injury presented to him. Indigo just shook his head and disappeared for a moment to fetch some supplies before he began cleaning the wound. He didn’t even say anything before he began, he had settled so easily into his confidence. Indigo had been a healer for the majority of his life, he’d seen success and terrible failure, and through everything he had learned well.
”So if you look like this should I be going to find Ko and make sure he’s patched up?” He questioned as he began to prepare a quick salve.
