Another royal pup had come to pal around and, after they had some fun, the lavender girl sends Rogue back to the gathering. Shaking out her coat, Andy takes a moment to stretch out her stiffening muscles before she deciding what to do next. Rolling through the movements she does to limber up before a fight, the girl is just about to finish up when her pale gaze lands on a patch of grass nearby.
With a mighty start, she realizes that there is a pair of magenta eyes staring back at her. Immediately, a huge grin splits her maw as she looks at the young princess, softly saying, “You are much better at sneaking than your brothers. What brings you out this way, little Rebel?” Pride laces her tone as she speaks to the pup as she is not one to usually be caught off guard. Andy continues to smile at the princess as her tail gently wags behind her.

Rebel had followed some of the visitors around after they all began to split off, mostly just watching and trying to decide who was the most interesting or exciting. Of course there was the big adult that brought them all here, but adults were hardly any fun unless it was her dad so he was off the table. After getting bored watching a couple of the younger ones for a bit she ended up finding her brother with the purple one with horns and she crept through the bushes, peeking through the grass as she waited for an opportunity to sneak up on Rogue and spook him. Any time she had the opportunity to startle one of her brothers it was going to be a good time!
Before she had a chance to do so though, the Armada wolf–Andy? Was that her name? There had been too many names to remember–sent her brother back to the others. Rebel frowned a bit at her opportunity lost, but stayed in her hiding spot in the grasses for a bit more while Andy started to stretch. Just as she was about to abandon her post and run off, the other girl's pale gaze landed on her, their eyes connecting through a few stray blades of grass. At first she was disappointed that she had been found out, but the compliment she was given about how much better she was at sneaking than her brothers perked her up immediately and she grinned proudly as she hopped out of the grass toward the older girl with a nonchalant toss of her head. "Yeah! I'm waaaaay sneakier than the boys," she agreed, giving Andy a confident nod. "You were the only one of your siblings to catch me though so that's pretty cool too I guess!"

The small pup hops out of the grass and Andy’s tail slowly wags behind her. Rebel’s words pull a soft laugh from the lavender girl and she says, “Boys don’t seem to have the patience to be very good at sneaking. I bet you can hide for hours and they only last a few minutes. Am I right?” Eyebrows lift as mirth and happiness rest in her gaze. Maybe she can impart of her sneaking tips to this younger pup? Since she was little, Andy has always been able to stay still and quiet for longer than many of her siblings.
An idea suddenly strikes the purple pup like lightning hitting a metal rod and her eyes light up. Lifting a lavender paw, she ushers the younger girl closer while asking, “Hey, have you explored this area before? Maybe you can show me some good hiding spots? Or we can find some together! That way you’ll always have the jump on the boys.” Eyes sparkle with mischief as the young Fatalis girl finds a kindred spirit in Rebel. Besides… boys are stinky and need to be ambushed. Everyone knows that.

Rebel grinned with a confident nod as Andy continued to be impressed by her obvious sneaking skills and pointed out how her brothers were probably way less patient than she was. "Well yeah, of course! Girls are obviously obviously better than boys at a bunch of stuff, but definitely better at being quiet and sneaky!" she boasted, her tail wagging back and forth in the air. In reality she didn't exactly want to be still and quiet unless she had a really good reason to be–like sneaking up on visitors and spying on them–but she could and that was the point! Her brothers were way too loud and wild for that, she was sure of it! But obviously Andy was a girl too so she understood that the sisters were always the best pups anyways so she didn't need to prove it.
Rebel's ears perked a bit with interest as Andy seemed to think of something and when she was ushered closer she leaned in to listen curiously. As soon as she was asked about good hiding spots and was given the idea of finding some so that she could always have a jump on the boys, her grin widened and she nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, I know a bunch of good spots! But we should find some new ones too cause I think my brothers know some of my spots already so I'll need some new ones! Come on, I'll show you!" The energetic pup was almost hopping in place as she spoke before she turned and started trotting off through the grass, leading Andy around the oddly shaped lake to another part of the woods that surrounded it. Bringing Andy over to a spot where a couple of large trees had fallen in a storm a long time ago, she pointed out a spot under where the two trees had fallen against each other, the shadowed, sheltered spot nearly over grown with grasses and vines that were growing down off of the old logs above. "I've gotten my brothers good from that spot a couple of times!"

The young Ashen Princess is spunky and full of wisdom about girls and boys. A laugh gentle rolls past purple lips at Rebel’s assessment of boys and Andy gives a sharp nod in agreement. Both of their tails wag as the purple pup asks about hiding spots and the Fatalis girl is quickly forming a plan that the Ashen Princess will soon be let in on. Rebel’s answer has Andy’s eyes widening slightly in a silent show of unvoiced ideas to come. With her piece said, the sky hued pup trots off, leading the purple girl to one of her hiding spots.
Andy is right behind Rebel, easily keeping pace with the more energetic pup. They come to a spot near two fallen trees and Rebel points out a spot, identifying it as one of her ambush points. The purple pup nods slowly, allowing her eyes to scan the area for a few moments before turning back to the spirited Princess and saying, “Okay. I am going to teach you everything I know about picking out good hiding spots. But! You have to promise that the information I am about to give you will never, ever fall into the paws of a boy! Cross your heart.”
Lifting one of her paws, Andy moves it to her chest and makes a small ‘x’ to show Rebel what she means. While the purple girl has no plans to be rude or mean to her new student should the information be given, it helps the pair bond to know that this information is for girls only. Because, as Rebel so eloquently put it, ‘Girls are obviously, obviously better than boys at a bunch of stuff’. Truer words have never been spoken.
