Saga was growing steadily, and, since her return to Ethne, he noticed how she and Nessie liked to hang out. Today though, Gavroche had promised Saga to spend the day with her. Auster’s autumn would give way to winter soon, and the winged man wanted to see his daughter happy, safe, and comfortable. That was why it was time to take her to the beach near Ethne’s lands. It was a place they could see from the top of the Falls, and Gavroche was sure the fish here would be more suited to Saga’s palette due to being born in Northern Boreas. He glanced over his shoulder at the young bear. Was she even still a cub…? She was going to tower over the wolves in the pack. “It's been a while since you’ve had enough room for a proper swim,” He told her, sure that the smell of the salt water was noticed by now. “The temperature isn’t too bad today. There is this beach, The Shimmering Shore. It’s close enough to the Falls…. I think it’d be a good place for you to come now that you’re a bit older, even if you come alone later on. Today though, what about we try to catch lunch, relax, and go for a swim together?” |
