During their meeting at Ethne’s borders Bellamy had given her word to Sirius that, once she had determined the items her pack would need and want, she would be making her trip North to the Armada. This was going to be a bit of an extended trip, and Alexander had come up with her, though she had left him at Avalon’s borders on Ethne’s behalf. She was sure Corbie and her members would keep him safe until she came back down, and, who knew? Perhaps he could assist them in a hunt or two before she got back. For the moment, only Ears walked with her. She wore her cape, had her dagger, though more out of caution for the distance between Auster and the Armada. The last thing she needed was to be unarmed, especially walking too close for comfort to Pirate's lands. She was still wary of Ignis… things had seemed… too quiet. At least to her knowledge. As they approached the Col Bellamy started to slow. Her green gaze scanned the area beyond the borders, but now, knowing their importance, especially being an alpha herself these days, Bellamy would come to a stop to honor them. Funny… She closed her eyes, recalling the ignorance of her youth. Being a slave… had really robbed her early on of knowledge outside fighting. Even common knowledge like borders was something she had no clue about while she was in the empire. She’d been lucky the first pack she crossed in the North was Acere’s. The alpha who had shown her that not all wolves in position of power were monsters… Perhaps… perhaps she’d take a detour to the Sparse Pines while she was here… for nostalgia’s sake. “You good?” Ears, noticing the woman hadn’t called yet, checked on her. Bells shifted her attention to him, giving a small nod. “I’m fine… the North just… stirs memories is all.” She turned her attention back to the borders and lifted her muzzle skyward, calling for an Armadan who might be around, as well as Sirius, should the Warlord see it fit to join them to properly oversee the trade items she’d be asking for in return for the goods they had agreed upon. She didn’t expect to take anything home today of course, but seeing what she’d be getting for herself would be a good show of what the Armada was capable of too. And, as promised, a pouch had been secured around her neck with string. Inside were the bits of rock candy she had gathered for the pack as a sample - filled completely with the sweet treat. |
