Though the band was sleeping within the warrens of Armada, Celeste had wanted to take them out to the top of Waterfall Peak. Here where the wind blew and the sun shone with summer's arrival, she stood by the cliff's edge. Thankful for the extended invite from Sirius to allow them to stay in his pack lands, Celeste was happy. Not that she hadn't been happy before, but she was happy more so now. The band was full of members she truly adored and loved. Ulmaria and Zoey were becoming friends, Arne was well Arne, and the old woman Pandora was more than helpful. Plus there were Cy and Oki who she honestly couldn't ever see herself living without anymore (as much as Cy wouldn't admit she probably shared similar feelings). And of course, their broody and adventurous group of pups that were slowly growing into their own. She was happy and she wanted everyone to know it. Turning from the cliff's edge toward the fire that had been started, she wore a smile that wasn't often seen on her lips. Tonight would be a special feast. Having asked Vidarr to hunt one last moose with her before he left, she had had him help her dress it and smoke it without the others knowing. So now she laid out individual chunks for each member of the Stargazers with their own patch of hide and fur as well. Though the moose had been a cow, there was plenty to go around for everyone. With it all spread out before her, she lifted her muzzle to call for them all. As they arrived, she would invite them to join her by the fire and eat. |
