Armada was hosting their family -- which was interesting, of course. Aji wasn't one to refuse a bit of adventure. In fact, living in a nomadic band necessitated a bit of wanderlust, something she and her siblings inherited from their parents. She adapted to the cooler regions of the north this pack situated itself in, spending her days idly scanning the territories (within reason, according to her mothers and father), picking up plants to examine if they were medicinal or not. Their packmates had taught her and her sister well about the identification of at least the basics of herbal plants -- which ones to use for minor wounds, a stomachache, nausea, and a runny nose for example. Today, she swept her eyes across the forest floor for new herbs to find and collect. Delphi, of course, sprawled across her back, riding along as she did if she wanted to, or when her little legs could not carry her as far as Aji's thin, lanky ones did. Ember gaze flicking across the various foliage, she suddenly spotted a familiar bluish-violet flowering plant sprouting amongst some dapple sunlit bushes. It seemed to thrive within the light that filtered through the woods' thick cover. "Delph, I think this is hepatica flower," She said, one paw lifting up to cup a flower. "They're good for..lung infections, I believe. We should pick some."

If one were to look for Aji, they would soon see Delphi right behind her. Or riding atop her shoulders. Most days, the small wolf was following in her sister's shadow, snuffling and searching for something to get them into trouble. It was typically wholesome and innocent trouble that most pups got themselves into. They weren't quite old enough yet to be doing... nefarious things. Even today as they wandered out into the forest, Delphi's nose to the dirt, they really were only looking for new herbs and plants. Some lady named Halo had mentioned that there were a bunch of different things out in the woods to find. Hearing that much had made Delphi all the more curious. What could they find out in the woods? With her tail flagged high in the air and her eyes focused on the ground, she nearly bumped into Aji when her sister stopped to cup a flower in her paw. Lifting her dirt-covered muzzle, Delphi's bi-colored gaze honed in on the pretty petals. "Is it safe to eat?" She asked first this time as she moved to stand beside her sister. Leaning in to smell the plant, she waited rather impatiently for her sister to give her the go-ahead.
