Quality time

Kotori roamed the grass plains, he had smelled food out here, the sort that would provide a larger meal. One he might have to get help to take down but had been too irresistible to resist tracking right then. Kotori slowed as he got closer, finally spotting what his nose had picked up.

The giant elk was large, with antlers there were as much trophy as weapon at this point. Scars marked its shoulders and even around the face but, these were marks that appeared to have been from stag fights instead of a predators teeth.
Kotori turned around quickly, jogging a ways outside of the plains, howling for Tove to come help him make the kill. It would be good for the two to kill something together again.
