Fog swirled around her as she ambled from the confines of a cave. Upon her back, she carried a bundle of newly dried wood. Snow trickled from the sky, floating back and forth until it landed softly on the granite and rock beneath her. As cold as it was, she was happy. Things were looking up for her. For them. Heidinn was promising and aggressive. In a good way. Tenshi mulled over these things as she made her way along the thin walkways of the maw. Pebbles crumbled beneath her toes and fell down the steep slopes. Surefooted as ever, she never looked down. Nothing good came from being afraid. Bracing against a strong bout of wind, her eyes blinked against the whip of snow and ice that battered her cheeks. Turning a corner in an attempt to evade the weather that slowly picked up, her nose suddenly tickled. Was that blood? New? Old? Her brow knits together as she searches around. Tenshi's objective for today had been to make a stew for dinner that night with root vegetables and some lamb that they had taken from a neighboring land. Thankfully she was adaptable and decided finding whoever this was was more important. Releasing a chuff, the mountainous woman tried to follow her nose. The scent was becoming more familiar as she moved through the maw. "Erik?" Her voice is uncertain as she squints through the wind and snow. Another chuffing noise calls out to the boy as she carefully picks up her pace. "Boy, if you're there and need help, call out to me," her voice is terse, stern in that motherly way, as she continues to try and find him. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |
