The smell of death invaded his nose as Beauregard discovered another location below the earth of Boreas. This area was by far the most unsettled, ages of decay of the crypt making his fur standing on end. It was dark, cold, and it seemed to be even colder here than in the snow covered landscape above. Even Blind seemed to be unsettled. Trill had refused to follow them in here, and as Beau took a couple steps forward and his paw met the rotting carcass of some poor, unfortunate creature that hadn’t made it out alive. So close, yet so far. He recoiled, scrunching up his face. Nope, that was it. He scrambled back, barking for Blind as he raced for the exit. "Speech" 'Thought.' |
