The young man had been tracking different things all morning as warm up. First a small heard of dear, then a rabbit and then on to a few squirrels. He was to begin his training today and he was not willing to be unprepared for anything Ashtoeth might throw his way.

Tracking had always been his skill, it had been his whole life. With tracking came hunting, it had been his chosen profession and he wanted to become a master hunter. Though he had agreed to learning how to be a warrior and a healer as well, they would never be his passion. He hated fighting but it was necessary and memorizing herbs was not an easy task but if Erani wished for him to learn then he would try his hardest to please her.

His white tipped tail swayed back and forth as his white painted ears swiveled atop his skull. Aqua eyes would scan the area and his nose would raise to the sky as his voice rang out in a call for his instructor. His voice had finally lost its boyish sound an no longer cracked with puberty, it was not overly deep nor was it high pitched and it lacked the gravely tone of an elder male.

When Ravine lowered his muzzle he had to refrain from dancing in place with excitement. Yet he couldn't sit still for more than a few seconds so he stood with his tail wagging while he waited.

Walk | Talk | Think

Ash was nervous. Enough time had passed since the festivities of the meeting and the after party that she and Leon had had themselves for something to have happened. She had known all too well what was liable to come of it, the repercussions of their actions, but at the time it had been so, so easy to set her nervousness aside. And, truth be told, despite the worry she was glad of it. They had waited so long, been through so much, to finally get to that point. And Leon...he had been completely worth it. But now she was beginning to think on it again, to really pay attention to herself and how her body was reacting. And she was starting to think her worries were warranted.

She was desperate for something else to do, something to take her mind off of the fact that, at that very moment, there were likely tiny little pups just forming inside of her. So when she heard the call from the young sigma-in-training she was quick to answer. Her steps were hurried as she approached the boy, and with a little bit of effort she managed to draw her expression into an attempted smile. No sense worrying the boy over something that was entirely her problem. Well, hers and Leon's. "Hey Ravine," she greeted, trying for her natural happy tone and for the most part succeeding. That was good. If her hunch for why she had been called was correct, she did not want those thoughts interfering. "What's up?"

OOC: Holy crap, super sorry for taking so long on this. >.<;

As the Psi Primary came into view, Ravine forced himself to stand up strait and only allow his tail to wag slightly in greeting rather than the excited movement it had before. She looked somewhat worried about something but he didn't ask, if he was to know then he was sure she would inform him. If she didn't then it was none of his business.

At her greeting he smiled and gave a small bow of his head. "Hello Ashtoreth." Her tone had not been altogether normal but still he minded his own business. At her question he would waist no time answering. "I thought we could get started on my first hunting lesson, if your not too busy that is. he tried not to be rude and kept his tone respectful. He was not a child and he knew childish behavior while he was suppose to be acting seriously would probably not be tolerated very well.

Standing there waiting for her response was killing him. He still had pup like reactions when he became excited about something, especially in cases like this where he was overly excited. He hoped that she wasn't too busy and that whatever was bothering her wouldn't affect the lesson, however if it did he wouldn't fuss.

(OOC): Its alright...I kinda took forever too

Walk | Talk | Think

The boy seemed to try rather hard to act less excited than he felt, to make himself appear mature and ready for the trails that came with training for the position he had chosen. She could see it within his bright blue eyes, just waiting for her direction to give him an outlet and to teach him anything and everything that she could. She only hoped she could think of enough to satisfy him, and that she did not disappoint him somewhere along the way. It had always been her fear since taking up the hugely responsible role as Psi even more "Primary" had been added to it. And now that her thoughts were still being torn away by the realization she was trying her best to not think too heavily on she was more worried than usual about it. How could she teach when she was struggling to focus?

But she pushed through it, still maintaining her smiling expression and friendly voice when she addressed him, and if he saw anything amiss he made no comment which she was grateful for. He was probably as intuitive as his father had been; he would know when to hold his tongue and when to pry for more information.

"Ooo, a first hunting lesson," she echoed with a grin, grateful that the gesture came much more easily than she had expected it to. At least she would need to fake as little as she could around this youth who deserved so much more. "I think we could manage that. Was there anything in particular that you wanted to work on?" It was only polite to ask. Surely he would know what his strengths and weaknesses were by now. If he was anything like his dad, he would be able to help guide her in the right direction with teaching him, and since she was still trying to get her thoughts in proper order any help would have been a blessing in disguise.

He knew that Ashtoreth could see his exitment, no matter how hard he tried to hide it. Regardless of that fact he would still try his best to hold the exaggerated emotion in check. It would do him no good to have it mess with his training. Lady Erani had willingly given him the rank he'd asked for with the one condition he receaved training in all three fields. Ie had agreed and there was no way in hell he was going to screw up. He wanted Erani and his parents, where ever they were, to be proud of him.

When the Psi Primary replied Ravine quickly cleared his mind and perked his ears up. Aqua orbs would move back to the one speaking and a smile would find its way to his maw. He nearly jumped with joy when she said she thought they could manage a lesson, but he caught himself and kept all four paws on the ground. "Tracking is my specialty, I can track anything...keeping them from detecting me however is a completely different story. I sick at hiding." he hoped she could help him master the stealth portion of hunting
