Walk | Talk | Think Anais smiled a little sheepishly, her tail wagging with quiet motions. Yeah, it was a nice thought. That was why she had thought to do it in the first place. Her mother had been trying her darnedest to get her daughter to take after fishing like she did, putting in plenty of effort and practice and wearing her patience thin trying to help her understand. The only problem had been that she did but she had not felt the same pull toward it that her prim and proper mother had. But she was sure knowing she had actually learned, with proof in the giving of the fish, would have brightened her day and maybe even made her smile. She really did want to see her smile again. And, of course, her sister was right. There were plenty of places closer to home that she could fish from, places like the lake that sat not even very far from their dens. And to her knowledge there were no snakes there either. "Yeah, you're right," she admitted, relenting and accepting to herself that if she planned to do this she would have to do so elsewhere. Anais recognized a goodbye in Jian's words, and quickly she got to her paws. She laughed a little and nodded her head in agreement. "It was nice to meet you, too, Jian," she replied, offering another bright grin echoed by the wag in her tail, "I hope I get to see you again." She really did, and maybe even then she could introduce her to her other siblings as well. A family should know each other she thought with certainty. "Thanks for helping me," she called over her shoulder as she turned and padded hurriedly away, her eager steps bringing her away from the Plains and back toward Ebony territory with the hopes of still accomplishing the task she had set for herself. -Exit Anais- -- anais
