Soon things will be brighter

Today had not been a good day. Whisper had tried to go into the Col and had frozen up again, the tight feeling in her chest too overwhelming to step past the rocks she had climbed with Ursa on the night of the flood. She didn't know how she had ended up huddled against the trunk of the towering tree, she didn't remember running here... but as her breathing got under control and frustration set into her bones, she huffed. Why couldn't she even walk around their own territory? Surely, she was stronger than this?

Gritting her teeth she stomped around outside her mother's garden. Maybe one of her brothers would be around for a wrestle if she just looked a little harder?
