Food! - wait... - no that's our food!!!

This place was beautiful, a winter wonderland with its long, sweepy trees and the snow on the ground. There was a pond in the distance with a layer of ice over it from the cold, no doubt full of fish and frogs and all sorts of neat bugs when the weather was nice. Morticia lead the way for her companion, Enki, who she had decided needed to get out of the pack and have some fun! She grinned over her shoulder at him, ears perked up and, in her quietest, not-quite-a-whisper, Morticia spoke. "Morticia smell new prey! Like deer, but different!" Her tail was wagging a mile a minute as the girl pranced ahead in the snow, the flakes crunching a few more steps before she started trying to actually walk with a bit more care. Her nose was toward the snow, sniffing at the ground while her eyes scanned the area ahead. "Morticia will find tracks! Then Enki and Mortica get lunch!" There was excitement in her voice at the idea of hunting. She had never hunted elk before, so it was sure to be an interesting experience. It would definitely be fun, cause she had a buddy with her!
