Gah, he just couldn’t do it. Sorra had grown more and more frustrated, what happened to him being a warrior? His fighting skills really were lacking but he was beginning to think that want too bad of a thing. He was fast and cunning, hunting came easier to him as well as learning the terrain. His teeth made it perfect for catching prey and maybe he could be some sort of messenger? He was just tired of having nothing to show his father like how useless was he?

Sorra huffed lowering his head while he looked at the trap he’d set. It was a bit tricky getting it to work and of course it was cruelly made but maybe it could snag a rabbit or a fox. He sat up then if there was something he could bait the trap with maybe it’d work better. Was there someone who could teach him this stuff?

Father of the year, wasn't he? He'd been showing his kids the ropes more or less, but honestly, he felt he wasn't doing that great of a job. He wasn't used to fatherhood, or being a dad, and he felt he wasn't the best at it and royally sucked at the whole thing, but he tried. He had just finished up a patrol with Phoenix on one side of the island, and as he made his way to the other to do some fishing, he spotted his other kid. He grinned as he changed his course to go bug Sorra, and as he got closer, noticed what his son was working on. "Watcha doin' there, kid?" He asked as he looked over the contraption that Sorra had in front of him.

Oh. Its like his head enjoyed torturing him, low and behold his father had shown up and Sorra tried to hide his anxiety. Still it was an opportunity to find out what the man actually thought of him. "Dad, long time no see." he looked at the trap jesturing to the empty circle. "Im looking for something to bait my trap with. I realized I cant fight very well so Im... trying something different." his head tilted.

When he was a pup hed wanted to be a warrior so badly. Now it was more about learning the land and the creaturs in it. The food they consumed and being able to be a providor. Hopefully it was a goal he would one day accomplish.
