Pins and needles

These plains had been Caelia's home for as long as she could remember. Leaving wasn't really something that interested her, if she was being honest, no matter how much things had changed. Even if Valhalla was no longer; the formality of it all didn't really matter to her. These wolves and these lands would always belong to her family and the allies of the Adravendi, at least as far as she was concerned, so so she would remain. Things weren't even that different from how they had been, before the pack had grown quiet, not for her.

She hadn't done a lot in awhile. Maybe she should've realized before that it wasn't for lack of wanting, or even lack of trying, but now it was painfully obvious to her that she was deeply depressed and probably had been for years now. It explained almost everything about ow she'd been these last couple years especially, why everything had seemed so dull and lifeless, without purpose.

Whatever the solution might be she didn't have the faintest idea. Hanging around surely wasn't doing it for her, but leaving wasn't an option either. A sigh sounded out as she made her way across the plains, the early morning air hanging heavy around her, quiet and still as she walked.
