Woah that was a really tall cliff, massive and looming and Maki had to crane her neck and squint against the sun to see it properly. She imagined herself standing at the very edge of the peak, her toes curling slightly as she felt the call of the abyss. The sweet urge to jump. Her expression would be deep and pensive, such melancholic thoughts that would make even the heavens open up in a show of pathetic fallacy. The rain would trail down her cheeks, masking her tears, the wind blowing softly in her ears, like voices of the past. Regrets that weighed heavy in her heart, real as the stone beneath her paws. Oh, wait that was good, she'd have to remember that line. So deep, so broody. Hnng pre-teen angst. Hnng! In reality, she was just standing there, looking like her head couldn't be emptier as she stared off into space. A lion could sneak up on her and chomp her tail and she probably wouldn't even notice. |
