She was a yearling now, no longer a child. Not that it changed her personality much -- it wasn't like she became an entirely different person overnight. But being of this age now meant her privileges extended just beyond the children's strict boundaries, and if not yet -- she would test them. Rules were subjective, and lines are meant to be crossed. Aji wasn't entirely a rebel at heart, but she rejected the notion of having to obey every command. So, her exploring upon her pack's territories led her on an impromptu mission to seek more herbs.

Because, y'know, why not. And she sought to become a healer.. though not the typical kind.

The girl's umber coat had accumulated more orange flecks, dotting her slende form as she picked her way through the rocky snow steppes of the mountainous terrain, never quite adapting to its chill. A cringe adorned her lips as she swept the snow away from some croppings of foliage, hoping to identify an herb she'd recognized by now. Her mental encyclopedia had expanded with more herbal knowledge, but this environment made it all the more difficult to find anything of value. Eugh.
