Damn bird, it had been difficult to catch as it was. Though the meal had been nice regardless now he found himself very very thirsty. Padding along the shore, his eyes make quick notes of everything. So far he just wanted to know the lay of the land, since he never really stayed in one place for long it was nice to take in the scenery to see if he'd come here again. His black tail flicked back and forth as he suddenly launched himself forward into the water. The cool water flowing over his large body. He swam a bit ways out, before returning to the shore feeling clean and refreshed.
Shaking off his fur, it became prickly and poofy. Looking nearly like a lion with his odd coloration specially the stripes on his back. Though Quelt made sure not to lay in the sand otherwise get it stuck on his fur. Finding a rock, he perched himself on it sitting in the angle towards the sun to dig in the sunlight. It felt nice, and it would dry his rather poofy fur quickly.

The quite of the territories past that of his homeland where a welcome retreat, it had been a while now since he had found reason to take himself from its familiarity, and from the wolves he gladly called a part of his heart. Despite all that he loved of Valhalla there was still something welcoming about the silence from the calls of wolves, and something free from the scents that did not speak of Valhalla with every step he took. He had come to adore Valhalla, but that didn?t make the joy of the rogue lands nothing more than a memory.

it was hardly a wonder that his paw-steps would bring him to the shores of Travellers Lake, where he could look out at the endless expanse of blue and breath its soft, watery scent of green life and fish. Lost in his revere he almost did not notice the deep blue coat of the stranger that sunned himself against the flat surface of a rock by the water?s edge. He paused in the act of dipping a paw into its surface, breaking its finery with a cast of ripples. His eyes had found the stranger and he pulled his paw back, tilting his head with curiosity as he took in the strange shade of this brutes eyes. ?Hello there, stranger? he called out in friendly greeting

Ooc: Squee! I almost forgot our thread, sorry! <3
