It felt... Horrible, honestly. The den was too warm and she had all but stomped across the dancefloor and into the willows just to find some trees to rub against. Did she suddenly have fleas? Cricket flopped on the grass miserably and turned to comb her teeth through the fur on her flank, coming up empty. Nope, that wasn't it either. She huffed and flopped down on the grass, at least it was cooler out here with the breeze making the willow branches sway. Green eyes turned towards the sky, taking note of the roiling clouds overhead. Perhaps they were in for an afternoon storm? It would be welcome, as long as it came with more than lightning.

Ghoul wasn't exactly following Cricket as she stomped across the plains, but from the look on her face, he did wonder if something was wrong. The scent that wafted off of her should have been an indicator, but when your heart and your... nether regions led the way, one's brain kind of shut down. He did keep his distance for a bit though. Only until she was flopped over onto the grass beneath the willows did he fully approach. Looking down at the tiny girl, he raises a brow and lets out a rumbling chuckle. "Something bite ya?" He asks, more out of humor than anything. Coming to lay down beside her, he stretches out his legs and gingerly reaches to let a few of his toes poke at one of her paws.

Cricket managed a pout when Ghoul asked if something bit her. Did he think she had bugs too?! "I dunno! Whatever it is feels awful though! It's like my insides are itchy..." Oh gosh she hoped it wasn't worms... but she'd know if it was right? Her tummy didn't hurt, it just felt kinda flip-floppy. She forced her nose into Ghoul's armpit and wriggled her body underneath the giant limb looking up at the underside of his chin as she crawled out the other side, jumping just slightly to boop the underside of his jaw with her nose. "Can't see any bugs on ya... 'cept this one." She cracked a wide grin at her own joke, although it seemed being close to him certainly helped to ease some of her anxiety.

Why was it when the little girl pouted did he think it was... cute? He hadn't thought that about anyone, but when she looked up at him with those big vibrant eyes, its like his own insides wrenched about. Ghoul blinks a few times and can't hide the laugh. Her insides itchy? Definitely not bugs if he could guess by the scent that wafted off of her. Before he could get a response in about anything, she was wriggling herself under his armpit and then up to his chin. Her nose booping his jaw had his own insides feeling a particular kind of itchy that really couldn't be ignored. He tilts his chin down to try and get a look at her, shifting himself so he was more on top of her rather than laying by her side. "The one kind of bug I don't mind," his breath drops down to a husky breath as he smiles. - fade -
