He’d gotten there on time at least. It wasn’t like the pups didn’t know who he was. Ruby had called him their older brother, but he wasn’t sure if that was even true. Ushering them far away from the woman who’d had full intentions of abandoning them. Not that he really knew what to do with the little things, everything so foreign to them. He didn’t speak much and plainly had said he was only here to help them find their dad. Ruby didn’t want them, she was a trash dog anyway.

The basin was warm. Req had stopped to rest and possibly find something to eat for them all. He didn’t know who their dad was, but he’d figured he could go off their looks. It would mean asking around. What a pain, but he knew what being separated from his parent did. Hopefully their dad wanted to be in their lives. Req definitely wasn’t well equipped to spend a whole year trying to look after these boys.
