In all the rummaging that Wade does, the pup has found a rather interesting artifact. ‘It’s called a knife.’ Sly drawls the word as if pup should know this and he snorts around the slender handle in his maw as he prances outside of the concrete building. The boy fully intends to show off his new-found toy to all of his siblings and gloat about how he found it but he just needs to find them first.

Sulfur usually hangs out on near the building and he decides to seek out his dark brother first. Trotting into the courtyard, he barks as best as he can around the object in his mouth as he summons Sulfur to him. ‘Just try to be careful Wade. Your pa might be angry if you maim your brother.’ Loki has a point and while he does not wish to harm his brother, the sharp edge of the blade might accidently find flesh. ‘Animal.’ ‘Fuck you Sly.’

Exploration was something that Sulfur found soothing. The heat of the day escaped in the undergrowth and plants closest to the building. For now he is small, and not drawing attention to himself while he learns his world feels like the safer step to take. Bit by bit, however, Sulfur’s confidence was growing. His red eyes were shining with delight as he rolled over a rock and watched some bugs start digging into the sandy soil underneath. His tail swayed back and forth in delight, at least until the muffled call of his brother seeking him reached his ears. It was… odd. Normally Wade sounded louder and clearer, didn’t he? Sul lifted his head and turned, head tilting to the side. What could his red brother want?

Sulfur crept back out to the open, ears perked forward as his red gaze sought his sibling. He found Wade closer than expected… with something in his mouth. It was long, catching the sunlight as his brother carried it. Sulfur’s head tilted again, silently questioning what his brother had found as he padded closer to get a better look.
