He’d caught her lingering near the western section of the border- claiming she was on the hunt for material with some color, to adorn the clay pots she’d created. Of course, Sephiran couldn’t allow her to leave the Moor by herself - it wasn’t in his possessive nature to do so. And so, despite her reluctance to accept his presence, the duo left the sanctuary of the Moor behind. Traveling farther into the west until they encountered the coast, where a small island could be seen just offshore. The landmark seemed to glow an ethereal emerald color- an oddity to them both. It beckoned them forward, much like a moth to a flame. Blame it on their youth, but the pair was equally interested in it, ultimately deciding to venture forward into the ocean. Swimming a short distance, they arrived on what he considered to be a disgusting piece of land- a copper sulfate infested rock, adorned in emerald sand and decaying trees. It made his nose crinkle, ears pinning back in disgust. This wasn’t the glowing island he envisioned- what the hell were they doing out here? "Aurelia" & "Sephiran"

Emerald Island shimmered in the distance, a tantalizing mirage of green against the azure sea. Despite Sephiran's evident distaste for their destination, Aurelia's curiosity was piqued. The promise of unique materials to adorn her clay pots with was too tempting to resist. As they reached the island's sandy shores, she could see the green tint that gave the island its name, a result of the copper sulfate deposits in the soil. With a determined gleam in her stormy sapphire eyes, Aurelia wasted no time in setting to work. Slipping the empty pouch over her shoulder, she began to gather various samples of the strange, bluish-hued plants and decaying trees that dotted the landscape. Her slender claws dug into the sandy soil, unearthing the organic material she needed. She worked swiftly and methodically, her focus unwavering as she collected enough samples to experiment with back home. "Aurelia" & "Sephiran"

Raising a paw to his nose, Sephian wiped it a few times- wanting to dull the scent of the copper with the sea salt on his foreleg, but it was no use. This place was disgusting. The sulfur in the air was worse than the hot springs he’d found with Cifarelli. Shifting his gaze to Aurelia, he expected her to work efficiently. So they could get the hell off this island. Of course, she was already in her own world- a world Sephiran enjoyed breaking down and destroying - but today, he would leave her to her devices. Wanting to get this collecting scheme over with, so they could return back to the Moor where they belonged.   "Aurelia" & "Sephiran"

Aurelia's keen eyes scanned the desolate landscape, searching for the most promising specimens- and a variety of them at that, as she was uncertain on what would pass on the unique pigment the best. She spotted a patch of bluish-hued grasses that stood out against the green-tinged sand. Kneeling down, she carefully plucked several strands, noting their delicate texture and unusual color. She also gathered a few leaves from the sparse trees, their bluish hue indicating their struggle to survive in the copper-rich soil. Moving farther inland, Aurelia discovered a cluster of small, flowering plants with petals that ranged from pale blue to deep indigo. She delicately plucked a few flowers, marveling at their vibrant colors. She also collected a handful of the strange, bluish berries that grew sporadically among the plants, intrigued by their potential for creating the dye that she was after. "Aurelia" & "Sephiran"

After harvesting the emerald sand she desired, Aurelia moved inward, following a poorly woven path on the rocky face of the island. Of course, Sephiran sauntered after her- gravitating towards his possession, as if she would get swept away by the tides if he dared to look away. She inspected some decaying foliage, and surprisingly, found some spouted flowers- their colors ironically similar to the azure hues in her pelt. Watching as she collected a bunch, before grabbing a few berries that grew on their stems, Sephiran motioned for her to hurry up with a nod of his head. Aurelia's method of collection was precise and gentle, ensuring she did not damage the fragile plants. She used her claws to carefully dig around the roots of the plants, extracting them from the sandy soil with minimal disturbance. Each sample was placed in her pouch, which she kept slung over her shoulder for easy access. After collecting a variety of samples, Aurelia stood up and dusted off her paws, surveying her collection with satisfaction. The pouch over her shoulder was filled with the bluish grasses, leaves, flowers, berries, and even some of the sand she had gathered off the beach. She turned to Sephiran, a look of satisfaction adorning her expression. “This will do,” She acknowledged evenly. It hadn’t taken her long to gather what she needed, but she was certainly pleased with what she had managed to find. "Aurelia" & "Sephiran"
