Her parents were trusting her. She had followed silently and kept her herbs taken from her mother's stores in a pelt bag made for carrying everything they would need. Bae had expected her to stay out of the raiders borders and stay quiet, so she did.

She could hear the fighting. Could smell the blood on the winds but she didn't want to disappoint anyone. Her aunt, grandma, mom and dad were all fighting and she was more than ready to get herbs to those that needed it. Blind or not this was her calling.

She laid out the bag and used her nose to nose the things she needed into neat piles on it. Her glow would mark where the pack would need to come. They had brought her for this reason and she was determined. Jack was beside her helping her as he waited. She had faith Ethne would get the chickens back today.
