As Cadaver explored the grassy depression, the air thick with the scent of sun-baked grasses, he suddenly froze, his senses alerting him to an unfamiliar presence. His gaze scanned the surroundings, and that's when he spotted it—a lone rhinoceros, massive and imposing, thundering towards him with alarming speed.

Instinct kicked in, and Cadaver's heart raced as he assessed his options. He could try to outrun the charging beast, but the rhino's speed and power were formidable. Instead, he opted for a different approach. With a quick glance around, he noticed a cluster of large rocks nearby. Without hesitation, he sprinted towards them, hoping to find shelter and safety among the boulders.

The ground trembled with each thunderous step of the rhino as it closed the distance, its snorting breaths audible even over the sound of its pounding hooves. Cadaver reached the rocks and dove behind them, the massive creature passing just inches away, its horn slicing through the air dangerously close to where he had been standing moments before.

"Cadaver Nightwing"

It was the boy again. They'd learned one another's names by now, having fought together so often. As she noted the rhino running hard towards him, Bowen almost called out his name but Cadaver leaped to the side. Wasting no time, Bo rushed in to offer the boy aid once more. Leaping up, she sank her teeth into the beasts tail, but didn't hold on for long. In fact, she almost threw up. Rhino's were fucking disgusting. Gods above, would she ever get that taste out of her mouth? "Bowen"

Once more, the girl shadowed Bowen's every move, emulating her actions with unwavering determination. Hadn't her father placed his trust in her for a reason? Surely, that trust was enough. She plunged into the chaos, her gaze setting upon a boy of similar age seeking refuge within the rocky terrain, sheltering from a formidable beast whose name she couldn't possibly have known.

With a fierce snarl, she charged forward, her teeth sinking into the rhino's flank with precision. Yet, even as she acted, a wave of revulsion swept over her at the proximity to the creature's hindquarters, made worse by Bowen's close proximity to its rear end.

Why did Barghest keep getting to leave the territory with some woman? Nimue just had to know. And so, she stalked after her once again, intent on trying to uncover whatever ploys the girl had going on under Cimera’s nose. She’d followed the two wolfs into a neighboring territory- a large sweetgrass basin, encompassed by rolling hills of lush greenery. It was hard for her to conceal herself but she did her best. Stopping behind boulders, waiting until she was far enough behind to continue her pursuit. Coming around a bend, Nimue defenses rose as Bowen and Barg stopped suddenly. A snarl rang out shortly after, and Nimue was compelled forward. That’s when she saw the beast- a body made of armor, massive and threatening, with a huge horn on its face that was clearly dangerous. A boy was hiding behind a rock, while the girls started attacking it. Nimue fell in line, running up to the boy and shouting at him to get moving so he wasn't trampled. ”Speech”

Cadaver's heart pounded in his chest as he watched the rhino thunder past, its massive form narrowly missing him. He knew he was lucky to have escaped unscathed, thanks in part to the distraction provided by Bowen and Barghest. A new girl showed up screaming at him to get a move on, but he need no further convincing. Cadaver wasted no time in rejoining the fray, his instincts sharpened by the adrenaline coursing through his veins. As the rhino turned to face its new assailants, he lunged forward, aiming for its flank. His teeth sank into the tough hide, eliciting a bellow of pain and rage from the massive beast. Cadaver held on, his grip firm as he tried to distract the rhino and draw its attention away from the others.

With a powerful heave, the rhino attempted to shake him off, its movements violent and unpredictable. Cadaver clung on tenaciously, his muscles straining against the thrashing of the beast. He knew he had to keep the rhino occupied, buying precious moments for the others to regroup and plan their next move.

"Cadaver Nightwing"

Dropping away, Bowen almost lost her lunch at the horrid smell and taste. She even went so far as to eat a mouthful of grass just to try and get the horrible sensation to go away. It worked a bit. Enough that she could get back into the fight. This time, she kept to the front of the animal. Teeth sank into the rhino's elbow and she hung on for dear life as the creature began to spin. It bucked and spun, trying to dislodge the thing that were biting it. Bowen held on to the best of her ability.

"Bowen"

When Bowen dropped away momentarily to recover from the noxious assault, Barghest dropped away as well. She repositioned herself, her mottled form circling until she saw an opening.

With a growl, Barghest lunged forward to join the fray once more, positioning herself at the front of the rhino alongside Bowen. Teeth sinking into the creature's flesh as they all fought to bring it down.

Barghest's muscles strained with the effort of holding on, but she refused to yield. She locked her jaws onto the rhino's neck, digging in with all her might as the creature thrashed and spun in a desperate attempt to shake herloose.

With her screaming, the boy shot up and joined the fray, moving forward to help the other girls fight against the dangerous beast. Nimue was quick to race after him, veering off towards the rhino’s side while the boy attacked its flank. She was looking for an opening, Bowen and Barghest attacking from the front, latching on which made the beast start to thrash around and spin in circles trying to disloge them. Nimue danced around its bucking body, avoiding being trampled with only inches to spare before she sprang up and onto its back. Rodeo time. Splaying her jaws and grabbing onto its hide, she anchored down and rode that thing like a friggen cowgirl at a rodeo. ”Speech”

Cadaver felt a surge of determination as he clung to the rhino's flank, his teeth sinking into its tough hide. He could feel the beast's powerful muscles tensing beneath him as it thrashed and spun, trying to dislodge him and his packmates. But Cadaver held on, his grip unwavering as he focused on keeping the rhino's attention away from the others. As Bowen and Barghest continued their assault from the front, Nimue joined the fray, leaping onto the rhino's back with a fierce determination. Together, they formed a united front, their combined efforts slowly wearing down the rhino's strength and resolve.

With a final heave, the rhino let out a deafening roar of frustration and pain, its movements becoming more erratic as it struggled to break free.

There was so much going on. So much action. And yet, each combatant had to focus on themselves. Focus on their own fights. Bowen was doing just that. The rust and snow fae's teeth were still lodged firmly within the elbow of the rhino. Her jaws were getting tired though. She needed a break. Just as Bo let go, the rhino groaned in pain and frustration. After biting the air a few times to give her jaws a break, Bowen bit into that same spot again, head lashing back and forth to worry the sensitive flesh. The rhino didn't like it much and bellowed in pain. Oops. Too bad.

Nimue's nimble maneuvers earned a begrudging nod from Barghest, acknowledging her skill but with little warmth. Latched onto the rhino, teeth sinking into its thick hide as she struggled to maintain her hold against its wild thrashing. Barghest's expression remained thrilled, her only concern being the soreness in her muscles.

And when Nimue daringly mounted the rhino's back, Barghest's reaction was one of indifference and mixed admiration. She saw it as a reckless move, one that could easily end in disaster. But she remained silent, because it was a ballsy move and she wished she had done it first. As the rhino continued to thrash and spin in a desperate attempt to shake them off, Barghest finally related, her frame dancing back as she panted form exertion.

Yeehaw, ride em cowgirl! Nimue held on for dear life, trying not to be thrown off. But of course, she wasn’t strong enough to withstand the whirlwind spinning of the rhino. The wolves at the base of it keep attacking, biting, snapping their jaws, trying to ward it off. One by one they started to grow tired, the rhino starting to falter as well, its spinning slowing down and Nimue starting to feel nauseated from the spinning. With an outward ugh she let go and let herself be flung off the rhino, rolling in the soft grasses until her body came to a stop beside a boulder. Her head was spinning, and she slowly pulled herself to her paws, ready to leap onto the rock to safety if need be. ”Speech”
