Life was… cruel.
They had returned to Ethne defeated and, even worse, another of their wolves was gone. Baecette, one of Lucette and Bae-Syl’s boys, passed away in the absence of the adults. The boy had been sick for some time, an illness that baffled his mother… And now that the boy was buried Bellamy knew his siblings would be struggling with the pain of losing a brother. After the raid Bellamy had wanted to speak with Jericho about his performance, how proud she was of him, but now this meeting was to hopefully give him reasons to smile as well.
Resting at the base of the falls, tail curled around her body, Bellamy looked out across the land that she had claimed for Ethne seasons ago. The pack had grown, and the woman loved all those that were part of it as her own family… although many of them were related to her by blood. And now with Norad’s wolves here, sharing in their company, the pack now had more wolves within their borders than two territories could successfully support alone. They would need to expand… perhaps to the beach? She would need to run that by Haydee. In fact…
Bellamy tilted her muzzle back and called for Jericho.
Maybe her grandson would like to join her on that adventure.
