She had lost Button's scent but she wasn't deterred. She knew she would find her sister or her sister would find her. She had padded into the prairie, tired after a long trek. The gazelle here were new and she watched as some bleeted and hopped away. They were strange. Though it was likely strange to see a Reindeer and a wolf in companionable silence, together. Frank's piebald form was definitely a strange thing if you thought about it, but Trixy found him endearing. He had become one of her most loyal friends since her and her dad had saved him from the tiger. Though it had taken a while to get him to warm up to her.
She smiled as frank touched his big red nose to her ear. She leaned her head into his nose as a gesture of showing him she was okay. She was just deep in thought tonight. Her eyes went up to the sky as she looked at the stars. Poor Button had to be terrified. Her sister wasn't like Trixy, she had never been left alone, had never had to care for herself. She sighed. Maybe a howl would bring her to Trixy? Was worth a shot. She tilted her head back and loosed a small howl. Then she stopped moving, listening. If Button heard hopefully she would answer and come to Trixy. So many missed her and wanted her home.
