No longer the youngest, the tiniest pups in Elyisum. No longer the smallest. Dominus is grateful for that, though he's already begun to grow larger and eat more heartily than his sisters. Something about boys being boys. He's allowed to take after his father, and already, the boy has. Broad and eager, he wants to see, he wants to do, he wants to explore. And he wants to take the others with him, to show them and explore with them. They're smaller, so he has to keep the safe too. It's a bright, warm autumn day, and maybe today is the day he'll be allowed. Maybe today is the day Dominus can finally, finally meet them. "Hey! Hey, can you come out and play?" The boy's tone is eager, silvery gaze bright as he calls toward the den. Not wanting to get overly close, he couldn't be rude. Tail wagging. Hopefully today would be the day.

Yes, in fact, she could come out to play! Fever had just finished having a little snack and was just preparing to venture back out into the wilds when an unfamiliar, but friendly, voice called into the family den. The girl's ears perked up and she pranced towards the doorway. The warm autumn sunlight caught the fiery flecks in Fever's fur, setting her alight as she exited the den. Already four little horns were growing out of her skull; two growing straight up between her ears and two curling around them. They would be big and impressive some day, but for now they were little and cute. Just like she was.

Mismatched eyes fell upon the form of a large boy, a bit older than she was. Fever long tail swished on the stones beneath her and she smiled brightly. "Hi," she said sweetly, her tones soft an innocent as only a child can produce. "Who are you?" Taking a step towards him, Fever extended her neck, touching her nose to the boy's nose to give him a good sniff and a friendly little bump.

"Fever Medacium"

A little face appeared in the doorway, and Dom's gaze lights right up. His ears perk right back in return, tail wagging at his haunches. Really, it's enough to wag the whole pup. It's hard not to be excited, okay? He was finally going to have company that wasn't just his sisters. It's the best day. Dom reaches out in turn, curious as she sniffs at him. His nose bumps off her forehead, inspecting the girl curiously. "I'm Dominus, who're you?" A smile playing on his face, nosing at her ears first and then her horns. "Do you like exploring? We can go exploring, or we can skip rocks at the beach or... whatever you like to do?" As long as he's busy, he's happy. Especially because he's not alone anymore. dominus mendacium

Dominus, as he was named, came forward and began to nose at her. Fever giggled sweetly as only a little girl can, her nose wrinkling and eyes squinting as she grinned. When he stepped back, asking who she was, Fe spoke through the remainder of her giggle. "Fever, but you can call me Fe." The girl also wagged, her tail longer already than the average puppy. Fever hoped that she would have long, luxurious fur like her momma, her grammy and her papa some day.

The boy invited her out to play and Fe cast a glance over her shoulder for just a second. She didn't really have anything to do in there, so... "Yes!" She didn't care what they did as long as she was out of the den and away from her brothers. "We can skip rocks at the beach if you'd like." Moving away from the den, Fever began picking her way down the path away from the den. Surely her mom and dad wouldn't mind. She was with a friend, afterall. That was good enough, right?
