The labyrinthian wraith's woods were becoming more and more familiar to Eltrys every day. The lingering mists no longer gave him the chills and he was starting to feel comforted by the enveloping eerie woodland. Hanging moss sometimes made makeshift rooms with their length and thickness.
A black squirrel dashed from the base of its tree as it noticed him and clambered up its home tree shouting at him. He had noticed most of the creatures here had darker shadowy pelts that blended in well with the undergrowth and deep shadows of the moss and mists. He made mental notes of where to turn and where to find the dense impassable thickets. Those thickets were usually the best places to find the dens of the black rabbits. Impossible to catch on the fly, but if he was quick he could grab one as it ventured beyond its hole. Eltrys was softly strolling through looking for one such thicket. He swore he had seen one just a few turns ago a few days back.
