She was almost there. Paws aching, muscles sore, eyes drooping with exhaustion. Small kills had helped along the way, but perhaps she had taken too much time lollygagging. Her strength wasn't quite back yet from the long journey to get here, and she realizes now she probably should've taken it easier. Where was the fun in that though? If she could make her way to where her brother, Caedes, and the rest of the Saxe lived, she would be good to stop. Find a place to camp until she could make her way into their official ranks.

Blood drips from her milky white and shadowed chin, the snowy white hare limp from the neck down. Beady eyes stare out at the cold expanse around them, Sloan tries to avoid looking back. Making her way slowly, toes dragging through the newly fallen snow, she heads toward the wall that crumbles over time. Trying her best to avoid tripping over the rocks, she finally gets to the small hidey hole where she's been hiding her kills over the last few days. One hare wasn't large enough to keep her warm, but ten? Ten would do just fine.

Plopping herself down against a large chunk of fallen stone, she ensures that the biting wind won't get to her too much. Placing her trophies before her, she sets to work skinning her current hare to add to her ever growing furred hide blanket.
