Alaric had moved into the Aspen forest in search of prey to eat. The lands were beautiful this time of year and he knew there had to be something in the area worth hunting. However the deeper he traveled into the Aspen forest, the less prey he was smelling and the smell of a mountain lion entered his nose. His hackles raised as he immediately perked up in alert. The big cat was somewhere. He moved towards the nearest creek, which was dammed up and in more open of a clearing. The water was overflowing and soaking the ground. He looked around the clearing for signs of the big cat, all for nothing until he heard the menacing hiss behind him. He turned to face the mountain lion, to see it only a few yards behind him. He stared it down, his gaze challenging it to come at him. He took no time closing the gap between them, eager to get the first strike in. His black maws splayed open and sought the hind leg, his grip forceful as he landed onto the mountain lion. He wasn't sure if reinforcements were coming, so he was fighting with all he had.

Bellatrix Ravenwood

The Dam was a frequent haunt for Trixy by this point, once having had her family claim it. Though now it was vacant. She had every intention of taking it as a third land eventually though. God's garden and the falls being her first two priorities. Frank was moving somewhere behind her as she plodded on. A snort from her normally stoic and silent friend had alerted her earlier to the scent of a predator. She had merely calmed him and pushed on though. So long as the creature didn't come after her or Frank it wasn't seen as a threat. Though it could be later if it went after another wolf.

with that thought she pressed her ears. Frank wasn't gonna like this. They were gonna have to track it down and see if it was predatory or would rather run when confronted by a wolf. Granted she was barely the size of a fox, that didn't matter to her though. She treaded carefully, moving quickly with a nervous reindeer on her trail. She came upon it not long after starting to track it, though it seemed to have already found someone else. A familiar face to Trixy at this point. The monochrome male she had sparred twice now. Well no use in letting him fight alone.

She moved fast with Frank at her heels. Dagger pulled from it's sheathe, and a snarl ripping from her chest. She came from the cat's backside, Jumping and aiming to land upon its hips, head and dagger down, aiming to plunge into it's back just left of its spine. A major pain for it if it wasn't smart. Frank lowered his antlers and twisted his head aiming a good stab at its entire left side with massive, dangerous spikes. His antlers were no joke when he was aiming to actually harm.

Much to Alaric's surprise, help did arrive. A familiar face indeed. It was Bellatrix, the wolf he had sparred twice now and her reindeer. He couldn't talk with a mouthful of mountain lion. He twisted the leg that was in his grasp, shaking it much like a dog would with a toy. The mountain lion was enraged and twisted to try and swipe at him again, only for Alaric to release the leg and step back in time to avoid being hit. However, the smaller wolf was already on the back of the mountain lion. Alaric watched as it rolled onto its back in a desperate attempt to get the smaller wolf off its spine, but it seemed to not pay enough attention from the incoming reindeer. Alaric watched as the mountain lion was forcefully moved by its antlers, it let out a desperate yowl.
