"The selkie sits on solemn sands, her hair a curtain wet..." Wildflower eyes gaze over the ravine's edge.  "She sings her songs of splendid seas, a shining silhouette..." A brisk wind played through the silken wavy fur of the borzoi mix as she watched how the light played over the water.  "Her lily coat lies loosely strung, her shoulders slim and white..." Morwenna sings a song quietly to herself, one she heard on her travels before she landed here on Auster. "She sighs with sounds of salty spray; a voice of naught and night." Something she forgot for a while but somehow traveling with and being with Raiders Hollow wolves reminded her of it. She had finally found the last few verses from her memory as she sat gazing at the ocean.

During her travels inland she had nigh forgotten how much she loved to watch the sea, but especially the western seas. The sun would set in just an hour.

She sat with her back to Deluge's and Dread's treehouse. Sure she was maybe holing up in there with them but she didn't know... if they actually wanted her there. She decided watching the water would be better than asking them uncomfortable questions.

The singing was what drew her out of the treehouse, pausing to stretch on the deck of the the treehouse, her face mending well thanks to the assistance of Morwenna, she took a moment to consider the little healer. There was something, kinda sad about her sitting down there alone, like those tales of sailors wives, looking out over the cliffs and waiting for their lovers to return. Her spine finally, satisfyingly popped and she swaggered down the stairs, long legs eating up the ground between them. She chuffed a greeting, reaching out to drag teeth through the fluffy fur just behind Morwenna's left ear before she sprawled out on the sand beside her. "Whose ass I gotta kick?" She questioned with a lazy smirk, masking any genuine concern behind her usual bravado.

Deluge had never been one for outward displays of genuine emotion, even where Dread was concerned, the thought that someone might have Morwenna this melancholy awakened something dark and protective, possessive in her chest. If someone had stolen her smile away, there wasn't much Deluge wouldn't destroy to get it back.

"speech"
Due to distance kept from her Raider kin and her regular travelling taking her out of pack lands, Deluge smells and acts like a loner. The only noticeable scent other than her own is Dread who may join any of her threads at any time.

The woman heard the movements of Deluge coming down from the treehouse. Oh, she hadn't bothered her, had she? Was she singing too loud? Then her mild worries were assuaged when she pulled in a breath and closed her eyes to the tall dire dragging her teeth through her fur and laid beside her.

"Oh!" Morwenna feigned woe and turned away from Deluge for a moment, "Only someone too close to my heart, they simply ignored me all day long!" She theatrically lifted a paw and waved it in front of her. Then turned to the pink and merle woman with a mischievous and coy smile. It wasn't entirely true, Wenna had been off gathering and sorting herbs most of the day and galavanting around herself. "But please, don't be too hard on them." She pleaded with sweetness as she leaned into the tall woman's side.

She had a penchant for silly theatricals when she wasn't serious, putting on an extravagant play as a ploy to hide her actual emotions. Her way of keeping the banter light and playful but she can easily pull in the silliness when required.
