Up west

Reaper decided to explore the continent more. With Moloch at his side, the two travelled north from Auster and then west into the main continent. It took them several weeks to get it. He noticed the change in the weather immediately. It grew noticably colder and more wintery the more north he traveled. He was starting to miss the warmth of the south. Moloch had led him to this place in hopes of food. The young Bloodjaw was not accustomed to going this long without a meal. In Seether, food was always plenty. The hunters were task with keeping food for the pack stocked. One didn't have to hunt if they did not feel called to it.

When he entered the land, there wasn't much prey on the open. That was, until he spotted a hare nibbling on whatever remained of the grass of the region. It was foraging for food. Reaper lowered himself to the ground and immediately began to stalk the rabbit.

When he decided to pounce, the rabbit began zipping away with great speed. Moloch cawed and dove in front of it, hoping to scare it into changing its course is distracting it. Reaper was thankful for this, as the rabbit had spooked and swerved left in a tight cut. The cut was too tight, as Reaper closed the gap between them and managed to pin the rabbit between his large paws. Reaper quickly ended the hares life and stood with it dangling from his maws. He smelled the air, a new scent. His seagreen eyes scanned the broad valley, looking to see who it was.
