It had been a hot minute since she had been to the Boneyard, and she was back once again to test her mettle against anyone who was looking for the same thing. The young bear strolled through the dusty plain, tipping over bones that stuck out of the ground (on accident, of course, but it was hard to avoid with so many). Her armor was well oiled and the horns of her helm polished. Her paws ached with the growth of a new versatile claw that had emerged recently, and even she had to be careful with the raptor-like dewclaw that had grown there. She wasn't used to it yet and already she had cut herself a time or two on accident. Still, she learned that it helped her grip better, and maybe she'd get a chance to put it to the test today in a fight. "Speak"

He came to the boneyard, a place he had avoided before. Eltrys knew that he wanted to get stronger and become a true fighter, he had to spar, he had to train.

Over the litany of dried bones and dush he saw the great form of Saga. Her armor gleamed.

"Saga! Good to see you! How about we start that training here and now?" He asked, lowering his head, and peering around his own helm of antlers. Ready for her to come at him. He had to learn how to move with her. Might as well find out how she moved against her own opponents!

She waited patiently, though she wouldn't have to wait long before a familiar face came into view! Eltrys had arrived, and she was a little surprised to see him considering the Boneyard didn't seem like a place he'd frequent. "It's good to see you too, Eltrys! And sure, why not? Now's a good time as any!" She shook her large frame, loosening up her muscles as she readied a battle stance. He wanted to learn how she fought. Well, what better way than a quick crash course? He settled into his own stance, and as they prepared themselves, Saga started to slowly move, as if looking to circle around him. She walked at a slow pace, amber eyes locked on him as she appeared to search for an opening. Then, without much warning, she charged, dust and grit rising up in her wake as she uttered a roar to throw him off. Her head lowered, left shoulder jutted out as she aimed to throw it into the wolf wherever she could. While she might not be as fast as most wolves, she had learned to adapt to fighting them, and she overpowered them by a landslide. However, brute strength wasn't the only thing she had. Whether or not her first attack was successful, she'd sweep her right forepaw toward his legs in an attempt to sweep his feet right out from under him and drop him into the dirt! Eltrys was warmed by her greeting! It'll be good to clash with the leader and learn! He was here to learn! If he could frame a fight into a thirst for knowledge maybe he could get a better handle on fighting in general!

Eltrys matched her pace, his eyes locked on hers. One of her massive paws pushed forward quickly as she charged and he pushed forward with his own helm lowered. He strafed to her right side instead of meeting her head-on. As she flung her leg out to trip him he launched himself into the air and aimed to leap off her shoulder to grab some distance between them again.

He was a quick thinker, she'd give him that. Adaptable, too. As her forepaw swept out to trip him up, he had managed to avoid her attack and even launched himself up to leap off her shoulder. She felt the pressure and weight of him, and this is when she took her opportunity. With practiced precision, she whirled toward him, a heavy paw lifting from the ground as she did her best to catch him before he could make it back to solid ground. Granted, she wouldn't hit him as hard and as heavy as she had done with Gilgamesh, but the strike (should it land) would hurt. With any luck, she'd strike him dead center before he made it back to his feet. He had said he wanted to learn, so she'd take this opportunity to show him. As Eltrys launched off her shoulder her paw swung out and met the bone studs on his vest. The force still crashed into him and sent him off his trajectory. The studs thankfully kept him from getting too badly winded as he met the ground. He rolled into the earth further to keep his momentum and let him recover enough to charge back into the fray. He lowered his antlered helm at her shoulder, meaning to offset her stance and pull a leg out from under her. He would leap at her throat for the dominant hold, hopeful to pin her to the ground.

Her paw struck him, but unintentionally she landed her blow upon the studs of his gear. She had to admit, it did not feel pleasant in the slightest. She grunted her pain as her paw pad throbbed, but at least she sent him off course. At least for a moment. As she kept weight off her throbbing paw for a moment, he had managed to come in and overtake her. She was thrown off balance, and her foot did not return to the ground fast enough. She barely lifted her head out of the way, but his teeth pinched the skin beneath her throat and she stumbled over herself before she could swat him away, effectively dropping to the ground in a heap. "I yield! You win."
