The brute approached the battlegrounds, anticipation roiling in his veins. His powerful frame moved with a predatory grace, each step bringing him further into the bloodied grounds. The moonlight glinted off his sleek, dark fur and scars, casting an eerie glow over his hulking musculature.

With a low, resonant howl, Caedes brought forth his challenge. His lips curled upward in a snarl, fangs bared in frustration.

He wanted a fight. He needed a fight. He didn’t care who, or why. His eyes blazed with a mix of anger and desperation, a fierce light shining through the green. His mind reeled with the remnants of pain and grief, and his body demanded action to sate the dreadful void in his soul. Every muscle tensed, his claws digging into the ground, leaving deep grooves in the dirt. The anticipation of the imminent clash sent shivers down his spine, his breath quickening as he braced himself for the release he craved.

The heat of summer pushed her northward for a little vacation in the cooler weather. Although she was built more for the hot and humid summers of the Auster even Jynn needed a vacation now and then. Of course, she didn't want to do her pack wrong and just mess around the whole time. There were skills to sharpen. Her focus had been on hunting and serving as a provider for her new home but now it was time to shift to fighting. She was a ranked fighter among Tojo and would likely need to assist with training the pups. If she was to do than then she needed to increase her skills.

After night fall, with the moonlight shining on her back she headed to the battlefield in search of an opponent. A low howl calling for an opponent caught her attention. Her ears swiveled and she dove toward the sound, arriving to see a large, muscular man. He held himself like an experienced warrior, a dangerous wolf. Jynn almost instinctively knew not to mess around to much with this man. Still, she was an amiable creature and offered him a soft smile and nod of greeting before setting her defenses. "I'm ready when you are, big guy."

As the sound of paws approached, his green eyes flickered with a mix of analysis and stoic anticipation. The arrival of the newcomer, a not-wolf with a confident stride, did not go unnoticed. Her soft smile and nod of greeting were overlooked in favor of taking in her features. She was wolf-like, but she was almost on stilts; still dwarfed by him nonetheless.

His sizing her up went by quickly, noting the blend of amiability and readiness in her stance. She was no stranger to combat, that much was clear. Her words echoed in his mind, a challenge wrapped in a friendly demeanor. Caedes's lips curled into a predatory grin, his fangs glinting in the moonlight. A deep, resonant growl that seemed to vibrate through the air was his only response. He did not want to talk.

He moved with a grace unnatural for a creature his size, each step deliberate and powerful. His muscles rippled beneath his sleek, dark fur as he began to circle her, eyes locked onto her every move. The battlefield felt alive with the promise of conflict, the air thick with tension. He wanted her to make the first move.

Jynn's legs tensed in preparation to move and move fast. The male moved toward her and began to circle. As he did Jynn's quick footwork kept her always facing him, her ears alert and twitching to assist her in predicting his movements. She darted forward, long neck reaching down as she sought to bite at his right front leg over the elbow joint. Her back fangs seeking to land on the elbow while her right fangs aimed to be in front of it. Jynn hoped to get a grip from which she could pull sharply back toward herself and hopefully alter the man's balance.

Caedes observed her every move with unblinking precision, his emerald eyes narrowing as he noted her quick footwork. She was agile and quick, her movements calculated and sharp. As she darted forward, aiming for his right front leg, Caedes was ready. He anticipated her attack, muscles coiling with readiness.

Just as her jaws sought to clamp down on his elbow joint, Caedes shifted his weight onto his hind legs and leaped back with a powerful thrust, attempting to narrowly avoid her bite. His lips curled into a smirk, revealing his sharp fangs, a silent acknowledgment of her skill.

With a fluid, almost predatory grace, he countered. His powerful legs propelled him forward in a swift, calculated lunge aimed at her exposed side. His jaws parted, aiming for a grip on her neck or shoulder, seeking to use his superior strength to wrest control of the fight.

Jynn's fangs missed their target, clicking shut over empty air as her opponent leapt back wards. Dang he was fast for his size! Clearly this man was had notable skills as a warrior. This was not going to be easy but then it wouldn't be much fun without the challenge! Her hackles raised, muscles tensed as she prepared her next attack. Ready to spring she leapt once more trying to get around to his side but instead felt her movement cut short as his fangs caught the back of her neck, right in front of her shoulders. Jynn flinched at the pain but swiftly retaliated. With her opponent in close she made use of her long neck as her fangs aimed to seize hold of tender flesh where the man's shoulder met his chest. She wanted to snake her narrow muzzle into that crevice and shred flesh with her fangs.
